Combiner Wars Legends Official Images

I'll get Pipes to keep my Legends/Minibot collection going, but he and Huffer REALLY deserve a proper new mold update in this size a couple years down the road. They were doing so well with the Legends/Minibot updates but it just seems like they gave up when they decided an Optimus repaint was "good enough" for Huffer (same deal for Megs/Warpath, Warpath deserves a better legends mold later on also).

Buzzsaw looks interesting, I will probably get him. Shockwave is fine, but deserves a Voyager or bigger update at some point. I can skip Hot Rod and Skywarp also.

the igear pipes/huffer is a much more g1 looking option and.. makes more sense than giving 'minicons' the same mold as a prime…  

ofc they are some 30£ each unless u find them 2nd hand on ebay.

I got me a 2nd hand igear pipes for some 10$ a while back and I use a beast wars huffer that i found at toyr r us for some 5£. they fit their roles in my legend scale collection much better than the gen. legends pipes/huffer/prime nemesis mold…

as for buzzsaw im not interested.

– i am interested in chop shop and hope hes easy to find, the parts of this mold share same size with blackjack and bumblebee and makes for awesome spare parts for some custom bots. also its legs have more articulation than the bee mold.

– just curious if the shockwave mold has any use in terms of component swapping.

– and about wreck gar has anyone found a way to make groove not use his feet in robot mode? they look so ugly and make him so too tall… i ended up snapping his feet and putting them on a bumblebee as arm blasters but would rather keep wreck-gar as far as he looks decent. and those feet .. need some cleaning…

There might be a reason it's flat though. Titan Wars Soundwave will be a headmaster, and then the little Soundwave can sit on this and drive around!

I have another theory about Buzzsaw.

The forklift mode is a precursor to it's interaction with Titan Wars Soundwave, who will be a triple changer with cassette deck/robot/building. The forklift works as a vehicle in the city, and the communications tower building combines with the Decepticon city titan.

I never noticed the combiner legs as buzzsaw's wings until now

Really digging that Shockwave. Here's hoping we eventually get a leader class Shockwave as well.

its ok I was kinda being sarcastic a little anyway. but seriously if you go check out those pics it will answer a lot of your questions I bet.

No problem but… I only had a single question, and at the time of my asking it the only images I was aware of were those official pictures against a white background. Lack of due diligence on my part, fair enough. But once you set me straight, I said thanks and acknowledged it. I didn't have any other questions or reiterate the first one. Sorry if it seemed that way.

Considering the Generations line is supposed to also be an "update" for some characters, like Rhinox and Rattrap and Roadbuster, I'm seriously hoping that Legends Shockwave isn't the update on Shockwave we're getting. I'm hoping for at least a Deluxe class, but more or less for a Voyager class figure on the guy.

Considering how many Optimus, Megatron, Starscream and Bumblebee's we've gotten over the years in the Classics line, I'm sure we'll see more Shockwaves down the line.
