Thanks to TFW2005 boards member vproject for letting us know of a recent retail find in the Philippines: Platinum Edition Coneheads and Blaster / Perceptor two-pack! We’re starting to see these sets trickle out more frequently now, so keep an eye out for them if you’re wanting to add to your Generation 1 collection, you won’t be disappointed with any of these figures!

Good for you. The rest of us don't have $500 to blow on 5 voyager-sized toys every month. I guess we'll just have to settle for supporting the Transformers franchise so it doesn't go the way of GI Joe.

But is one really so different from the other? Shipping is free anyway. I needed a baby matress that they didnt have in stores so they ordered it from their warehouse and shipped it to my house. This is pretty much the same thing. They cant afford the shelf space so its restricted to online where collectors are savy enough to find them. At this point, walmart.ca is just an extension of walmart and I see them as one and the same. The point is these are out and available in canada and anyone can get them at retail price.

Does anyone have details about Perceptor's new gimmick? Are pretend microscope slides included with a light function, like it was previously rumored? I wish they had made him a new mask-less face & given Blaster some of his rarer Tape-bots. These are TRU exclusives, right?
