Platinum Edition Trypticon G1 Reissue additional images

Thanks to TFW member Daimchoc, we got news that Cybertron Philippines has again shared additional images of the Platinum Edition Trypticon G1 Reissue, this time showing the back of the box. Through these new images, we are able to confirm that the reissue figure will indeed retain its electronic walking feature. On top of that we have a glimpse of the bio written about the G1 character. I'm just gonna be patient and wait until retail gets this, I'm not paying the huge upcharge on it.

I hope it comes out in retail.

i emailed bbts just to see if they planned on carrying Tryp. The reply only stated that they will carry all Platinum and will update their site accordingly. So no ETA, shucks.

Some stickers are already peeling out of the box. Especially the ones on the legs. Same thing is happening with mine.

Ah ok, thanks for the follow up. I wish they came on a sheet for us to apply (yeah I'm a kid at heart and applying stickers gives me some sense of enjoyment )

But that level of quality is why I got the Reprolabel sheet anyway.

Just preordered mine, TFS has their preorder back up.

It's absolutely ridiculous in this day and age of simplified communication that we can't get a response from Hasbro as to who will carry this and when. Extremely disrespectful of us.

Kapow indicated that the supply of these would be limited and sold their preorder through in an hour!

TFSource has reopened their Trypticon listing. On Facebook they state they've secured limited stock of additional preorders.

Trypticon had still been in stock at TCP earlier this morning (I think).

Anyways, IF the Coneheads & Insecticons are any indication, Trypticon could become available later from other retailers. However, I don't think this is something anyone should be assuming yet.

Anyways, IF the Coneheads & Insecticons are any indication, Trypticon could become available later from other retailers. However, I don't think this is something anyone should be assuming yet.

I posted this in the TFSource thread in the Toy forum, but FYI for people waiting, per TFSource it looks like this is supposed to be officially released in 10 days (matching up closely with Robot Kingdom's shipping date of the 23rd), but it may take awhile longer for it to reach TFSource due to its size.

I've also asked Chosen Prime when they expect it in, but no response yet.
