is there a chance that hasbro will redo these in the correct G1 colors?
DeletedUser_119270
I would.

Would I be the only one that wants TR repaints in these colors?

Thanks guys. I was watching older video reviews that had some strange theories that I couldn't agree with. It is so weird that they did that, though. It looks so bootleg, especially Astrotrain. The Blitzwing looks rather cool in his colors, but I really still wish I had my original G1 again. I buy these to replace the ones I lost, and while these are interesting, they don't do the trick.

TFwiki reckons Astrotrain is inspired by Machtackle

Blitzwings colors are a tribute to Flywheels and Astrotrains are from a canceled NASA tie in or something from what I remember

so i just bought these at Crowemags in Raleigh, and I can\'t find a clear answer as to why the weird colors. Has anything been revealed on this? I am watching the 2nd review video on these right now while searching online.

TFSource has these guys up for preorder now (the PE Insecticons and Coneheads are available, too):
Platinum Edition – Blitzwing & Astrotrain – Set of 2
So, basically, over $80 shipped. Um… no. No, thank you.
artiepants
Yeah, i was expecting it to be $80 like the Insecticons (sure you get 3 of them, but they are smaller) I'd probably pay that for original or anime colors, but it's still about $55 to expensive for KO colors…
WhiteMocha
That's about $15 less than I thought it would be. Actually not bad.
Nightrain
That's honestly less than I thought it would be.

What did you expect? This is Hasbro's new collector strategy to combat 3rd parties – release a bunch of overpriced garbage and hope impulsive collectors are left broke.

Idk if this has been mentioned yet but ugh that price…
