It looks like WB-01E Fierce Attack “Onslaught” the final figure in Warbotron’s WB-01 “Bruticus” combiner will be getting it’s release soon due to several members on the Weibo site posting pictures of the figure in their hands. The members WHEEL_JAEHEE, Blood Messiah & Micky_hEr晔 have also posted pictures of WB-01F X-ray Warbotron’s “Shockwave Kit” that comes with additional weapons for all five combaticons plus a small transformable Shockwave figure. It looks like some assembly will be required for said figure, also it’s not clear on how to get this extra “Shockwave Kit” yet but you can put your order in for WB-01E at your favorite retailer with the links below.
There is a ton of pictures after the break so please take a look it took some time to gather these all together.

I don't remember if I followed pictures in the instructions or if I just came up with it on my own but I always gave the staff/barrel to Onslaught, the swords to Blastoff, the knives to Swindle, the gun to Brawl and the nunchucks to Vortex.

So. Question. Who gets what in the X-Ray kit? I guess any part of it could go to anyone, but it just seems like some parts are better suited to some characters than others. Anyone got either an official rundown or good ideas?
I love the barrels doubling as daggers, that's pretty doggone neat.
Curium
Looks like a double reference there, it is hard to be certain, but it looks like that may be the tank WB Brawl was based on.
Potchez
Look up an Oshkosh M1070.
One of the things I love about this Onslaught's alt.

Genuine question, what vehicle is Onslaught meant to be? He looks like it was modeled after a real life military vehicle.
Stykthyn
I think it's time to move mine as well. He had a good run. I never even look at it anymore.
Curium
I believe it is just a 5mm port, so any weapon with a 5mm peg would work with it.
optics
Ahhh OK. I don't have any of their weapons so it's mostly useless for now.
Curium
I believe his shoulder to act as a gun mount. I can't remember if it could tab into the arm to allow arm mount or not (I couldn't find any pictures of it, so probably not).

Anyone know where this goes on Swindle?

Ooookay, had my eye on the set for a while, but sorta want the osko by jinbao. How is it compared to the original, and is the listing on amazon the proper jinbao kit?
optics
Ooooh nice! I only knew of that first one, but the 2nd and 4th pic I'll probably end up trying to do. Thanks!
Curium
The Warbotron combiner parts can make a decent weapons platform to put next to them if it happens to appeal to you. Here are a couple of versions (some are made with the OSKO set, but the parts are the same)
Behind Blast Off, the toes articulated up so the feet stand on end.

Keeping them in bot modes. Only downside is having the combiner pieces off to the side.

Shapeways sell a upgrade kit to fix sloppy upper body slop for the OS KO. It forces the shoulders to lock in place and made it 1" taller. Had to
Spray paint it silver to match.

The cockpit hinge on blast off's chest was fixed on later releaseses. However, the orange translucent plastic inside the feet that's used as part of ankle articulation breaks on pretty much every copy. There's a well-known and not very hard fix that involves taking the feet apart and shaving down the translucent plastic – it's possible that fix was already done before you got the set. Anyway, it's a great set, one of my personal favs, and congrats!

Cool, kinda surprised that set is still available. Looks like only the swords are missing.
Ahh ok, yeah I don't see any of those issues on my set. I've transformed/combined them a few times now and I still can't find any breakage on any of the Combaticons. Maybe he was just exaggerating the break or it was glued. I'm sure I'll find it one day.
Curium
I can confirm the brown gun came with Onslaught and the grey gun came with Shockwave. You are right about the individual weapons being missing.
It has been a long time, but I believe the most common breaks were Blast Off's cockpit hinge (you would not have missed it during transformation if it was broken), the thumbs on some of the individual hands (from getting their individual weapons into them, especially Brawl, again hard to miss), and a foolishly used translucent piece inside the combiner feet which was part of the ankle ratchet. I think shaving down the corner of it a little allowed it to work while reducing the stress to try and prevent breakage.
Potchez
The Shockwave and grey gun were an optional add on set for this Bruticus.
The grey gun comes apart to become extra weapons for the Combaticons.

A friend of mine gifted me his Warbotron Bruticus that he had laying around for a long time. He said there was something broken, but I didn't notice anything when I was transforming them all. I'll have to give it another inspection. I was tightening and loosening joints as I went. Had to shave some plastic too because stress marks were showing. That shockwave was broken, but managed to somewhat fix it. Index finger was missing a pin, so I had to find something to jam in there until I am able to find a suitable replacement. Not sure if that big grey gun goes with this set. Missing the instructions and probably individual weapons if they came with any. Not sure if I got the combination mode correct. Excluding any accessories, I think the bots are all pretty much there for bot and alt mode.
Anyways, still very happy to have it and will most likely keep this set in individual robot modes since I plan on getting that OS Jinbao set by the end of the year. Will be busting out my Legacy Velocitron Scourge so this will be like an RID display for me.
