In the Transformers Universe game fansite kit released by Jagex, there are some nice artworks of three characters who are central to the Transformers franchise – Optimus Prime, Megatron and Bumblebee. These full-body shots give us Jagex’s reimaginings of these three characters in all their glory. Check them out attached to this post.

SHIELD Agent 47
Certainly one of many interesting design choices that can stand out in our memories!

Nice find. Transformers Universe truly had some of best and innovative designs in recent memory.

They look amazing! Makes me even more sad that the game got shelved although I'm glad we atleast got to enjoy the beta.
MrSoundmeister
Huh, surprising that Demolishor uses a green coloration in this like the cybertron toy rather than the traditional Armada color scheme.
SHIELD Agent 47
Edit: mistaken first impression?
Today, Universe concept artist Tom Stockwell reposted both modes of Bumblebee, and what might be a new view of Onslaught. I am not sure if we have seen the Demolishor concept before.
There is also a nifty unofficial companion redesign of Slug. The red somewhat reminds me of movieverse Scorn's toy colouration.

Love them. I would like to see designs like these in the films, maybe if/when a new director takes over.
Hey when does this game move from open beta to full release?
Cryptwire
all these are good. but i particularly love Ratchet's design. and Megatron's design just kicks ass.

Not sure how I missed Ratchet b4… but he looks great!!
RobotKnight95
Just a small piece of information here: Autotroopers are in he game.
My thoughts:
Faithful to the design but underwhelming. Would have to see full design for further discussion.
MindChamber
while the head could be a smidge bigger, they nailed it with megatron, love the treads in his ankles and thighs..
|Optimus, has some descent G1 boxy going, but hes too stylized and cartoony.
RobotKnight95
Pretty much. It was originally meant to coexist with Prime but the show met its end and nowadays its just goes on described as inspired by the show (the Autobot base, designs, etc.). At least, I think that's the story.
Emgo/TFG: Aw, so precious.
Agreed. His head design just does not scream MEGATRON!1!! He kind of looks like a villain for Agent Clank. He just needs a monocle.

TerrorCon King is BADASS!
GAUGE
Easy there on the Signature size.
your gonna end up getting it removed by staff me thinks.

Transformers Universe is no longer part of the Aligned Continuity and hasn't been for a while now, believe since before Transformers: Prime ended. It's now the "Generations" continuity.
So they can't really be redesigns within the continuity if this is their first designs in the continuity.
DOTM Bumblebee
On second thought, Prime's perfect too. Megatron doesn't look _too_ bad, but the head is really small and off-putting.
DOTM Bumblebee
Bumblebee looks very good. Nice combo of his TFP and WFC designs. Optimus Prime looks great, but the head seems a smidgen to big. However, he looks like he could crush a Decepticon's skull between those fingers! Megatron looks a bit generic and his head's too small.
SpinalCord
Why the fuck do these characters (in this continuity) need a million god damn redesigns? It's ridiculous at this point.
CodeXCDM
Because quite a few of them can't be toys… honestly.
Admittedly, some of the earlier figures were definitely retooled versions of existing Prime characters… for example… Meltdown was clearly a Ratchet retool/remodel as can be seen from his trailer:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcYXecE5n5c
(Seems the concept for Ratchet is also significantly different from this trailer, which is in contrast to the more detailed Prime Ratchet.)
The Decepticon Dune Buggy was just a reskinned Arcee… and clearly could not transform into that given this fact.
Other 'Bots introduced afterwards seem to outright cheat in transformation, with the schemes just being a bunch of sound effects and parts just spawning out the blue for either mode. (Unlike various CGI TF shows where slowing down the animations clearly show schemes similar to the toys they're intended to sell.)
Autovolt 127
While I actually don't mind the quality of the AOE figures, designers really need to actually try designing these characters with transformations in mind. That's what I loved about Cybertron and TFA's toys.

Man if only the faces didn't look so animated it would work fine to me.
