Some scans of a Hasbro products line catalog have been posted in the Transformers Colombia Facebook group. It’s important to note that these listings relate to Colombia only, so there may be other toys or lines which are not planned to be released in Colombia which are therefore not listed here.
With that in mind, let’s dive in and take a look at what is shown. The first headline is that in Colombia, Robots in Disguise will air on Cartoon Network and will premiere on 15 March 2015 – implying that the as-yet unknown US premiere may take place sometime before this.
The first of the three sheets shows us the Robots in Disguise 2015 line, as revealed at San Diego Comic Con 2014. The four assortments are: Warrior (Deluxe analog assortment, details are misprinted with the one-step info); Legion (Legends class figures, assortment is said to contain 12 figures which convert in 20 steps or fewer, which seems an exaggeration considering such small toys generally do not have such involved transformations). The Hyperchange assortment is also listed and described as having three-step conversions and six figures in the assortment – so similar to the current Power Battlers line. Lastly the Robots in Disguise One-Step Changers are also listed, with 14 toys said to be in the assortment.
The second and third sheets cover side-line items. The Titan figures look set to continue, with 12 inch Hero figures being planned both with and without electronic features, and a series of 6 inch Titan Guardians also being planned. The picture accompanying this listing suggests there will be a 5 pack of 6 inch Titan Guardian Seekers – Skywarp, Starscream, Thundercracker, Sunstorm and Acid Storm. There’s also some information on Hero Mashers, but nothing previously unseen there (yet)
Once again a big thanks to Transformers Colombia for sharing this with the fan community.

Yup, and those documented figures show a decline in ALL toy products, yet Transformers still rides high.
Another big fatcor in this is the ridiculous cost of Ethenol. They may very well be selling the same or more than previous years, but they're making less profit because production costs have skyrocketted.

Remembering from years past I remember they first unveiled Beast Hunters Supreme Predaking at NYCC 2012, I think they revealed First Edition AOE Leader Optimus Prime at last years NYCC?
Usually it's a big item of some kind, though i'd rather hope they just show us wave 1 there.

Yeah, anecdotal evidence means nothing. Production numbers, sell through, restock rates, documented sales are the only things that are evidence.
SPLIT LIP
Keyword: "Anecdotal evidence."
Which is a fancy word for heresay. My Wal Mart has had the gimmick figures moving slowly, but they've been moving lightspeed compared to the Generations that just sit and collect dust.
AOE didn't perform as well as expected, because no toylines have been performing as well as expected. Toylines everywhere are suffering, because kids are moving to devices and away from toy for entertainment. The gimmick figures are unrelated to AOE struggles, because AOE is still doing better than other toylines.

Chances are they were deep into work on the RiD toyline months if not a good year before the AoE toys even hit shelves. It's not something they're going to be able to change that quickly. Remember how long it took them to react to all the shelfwarming 'Bees?
Soundwinder
I hate to be one of those guys, but really? All these sublines… we know AOE didn't do as well as they hoped, and anecdotal evidence from pretty much everyone on every site says that all the simplified sublines are moving the slowest. Yet they're still going to be pushing them?
Bold.

No, it starts on 9th October.
I dunno how likely we are to see new stuff at NYCC – Hasbro rarely does much there compared to SDCC.

Dang, comic con's next week?
Fort Max
Well it's new York comic con next month so we might see some more there.

When will we see the new legion figures I'm hoping bumblebee flows well with prime cliffjumper
Anguirus
Ha, I told myself I would do this for Prime, but the show won me over so that I got a good chunk of the mainline.
Still, after my last collection purge, Cyberverse were the ones I kept.

It's good to see that Hasbro is perhaps realising that having a billion different assortments on shelves is a great way to confuse casual consumers. After AOE's mess of similarly-packaged product lines, a line of just four pricepoints is a breath of fresh air.
There's a sensible spread of size and complexity across the line –
Legions: small, many-step transformation.
One-Step Changers: small-medium, simple transformation.
Warriors: medium, many-step transformation.
Hyperchange Heroes: large, simple transformation.
– and hopefully they'll make sure these are each in distinctive packaging sizes/designs.
Yes, it's a pity that Voyager and Commander assortments are absent from the line, but I think Hasbro's current default assumption is that the adult fanbase is mainly interested in Generations G1 homages, and, considering the bile some people spew over the movies and whatnot, I can hardly blame them for making it.

And Hasbro made no secret of it way more than a year ago when the upscaled BH figures were announced that they'd be concentrating on making Generations and Masterpiece specifically for the collectors and everything else (i.e. the current animated series) geared towards children, who will grow up to be the next generation who will then 'graduate' into collectors buying the Generations figures as they become adults.
The movies are the obvious exception with them having figures across both types of lines aimed at both groups.
Of course there will be some adult collectors who'll want to collect figures from the new animated series, but they're not being specifically aimed at us so they're probably not going to make anything more complex or larger than the 'Warrior' figures. And the rebranding of the size class here tells you that it's included as part of the RID line rather than the usual Generations D/V/L size classification.

Great post.

Don't you know that Hasbro is stupid?
Hoffman
Hasbro is using that term for that product form across all their brands.
kaijuguy19
I think it's likely that we don't know all of the toyline so far so there's still a chance that we might get Voyagers in the line. We'll know for certain in the future.
RotorstormNZ
Apologies if anyone has already said this, but does anybody else find it disconcerting the word Titan is used for the big basic non-transforming figures? Esp when Generations had just the one Titan Class fig…
I'm keen to see the show before I make any judgment calls on the figures, but I do like the OP previewed early in the year.

I wish we could do upvoting on this site. Because this post deserves an upvote.
Yes it would. Especially if paired with the Ark from DOTM. And who here also wants a Cyberverse Galvatron/Lockdown/Hound/AOE Prime?
