Box Office Mojo has reported that Transformers: Age of Extinction’s Worldwide Box Office numbers have surpassed the $1 Billion mark, making it the SECOND Transformers movie to pass the milestone after 2011’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
Age of Extinction is also now the 19th Highest Grossing movie of all time (Not adjusted for inflation) and still has several premieres to go in the International Market. Could Age of Extinction surpass Dark of the Moon? Only time will tell.

That's impressive. I found it hard sitting through the last hour of AOE, and you did it 19 times. Even the films I love to death I haven't gone to see in the theater that much.
Lets see.
The Lion King…. 9 or 10 maybe.
Transformers The Movie…. 6
SW Episode 1….. 7 (not that I loved it, was trying to like it, figure it out)
Transformers '07…. 6 or 7
Star Wars…. 5 (all together over the years)

Well excuse me then, so he did do something good, my mistake (and for the record I did not look up if he did before posting). Don't have to be smirky about it.
Doesn't make the Bayformers movies any better though, just puts him in a more forgiving light.
But it's time they gave this license to someone else, maybe we'd get better movies out of it.

First, let me get this out of the way:
Holy wall of text, Batman!
And your right, this is a different universe. But this Prime is not that different then 'your' Prime. Prime fired his blaster at many enemies who threatened his Autobots or friendly humans. The humans in TF4 were not only killing Prime's friends and allies, but also innocent humans who got in the way. Cade had just as much right to freedom as Attinger. The minute Attinger was going to take that away, Prime did what was necessary to save a friend.

If your going to be libelous, at least do some research first. Found this in less than 1 minute on Google.

I'm sure there's plenty more but I don't care to waste my time. Haters, please don't let your children in the playground unattended.

The sad thing is that this high attendance/sales (and previous films) is a reflection on the strong following of transformers fans and that it's a strong franchise to be reckoned with and that this is just a medium where it channels through, not that it's a great movie people were dying to see – people went to see transformers period. I hope paramount and hasbro can see right through this and don't rest on these economic laurels and work on aiming higher.

So Bay made another heap of money with his billious tripe. A billion…and people wonder why there are still people who starve, simply because they don't have anything.. and a movie "earns" that much? What has Mr Bay done for charity lately or anything other than lining his own pockets? With movies not that great? (understatement)
LegendAntihero
It was still better than the other 3 Transformers films
LegendAntihero

I can't wait for TF5 and TF6 now… it'll be so exciting to see all the new transformer characters.. that Hasbro won't release deluxe or voyager figures for!
YA BURNT!

Congrats Paramount! Didn't really surprise me.
Megatron276
yep. I should get a free figure. I saw the first one 15 times. The second one 12 times and the third 16 times. Bay should send me a Christmas card lol.

Well, now we know why it hit the billion mark! XD
(I wish I could afford to go to the movies that many times… you're a trooper.)

Saw gotg once in theaters. Very good but I like tf more than marvel sooooo. I saw aoe 19 times. I loved AOE. The theater I was with for my first three viewings was really into it. So much fun. My neighbor liked aoe(and he HATES the first three) so that was all I needed as a confirmation on how good or bad it was. If you don't like these movies fine I don't care but don't start insulting me because I have a different opinion.

Not only that, but the toyline would suffer even more for it, because Hasbro would get the completely wrong idea about the movie's failure. And no one really wants that…
I'm not a fan of the films, not at all, but wanting it to fail is extreme for me. If it fails, then the backlash for the Transformers franchise as a whole would suck for everyone involved, and no one really wants that, right?
Right?
