TFW2005’s coverage of Summer Wonder Festival in Japan continues, this time thanks to images from 2chan.
First off, we have images of upcoming poseable figures of Generation One Arcee and Elita-1 from Fewture Models (similiar to the Optimus Prime and Alpha Trion articulated figures we originally reported on during the last Wonder Festival in February.) Secondly, Sentinel (company behind toylines such as Riobot, as well as the Optimus Prime transforming pen) has revealed that they will be producing a retool of their previously revealed Gigantic Action non-transforming Zarak toy into Black Zarak from Transformers: Masterforce! This non-transforming collector’s piece is perfect for those who are very wary of the original Black Zarak’s infamous Gold Plastic Syndrome. Unless you want a Transforming Black Zarak, that is.
Stay tuned to TFW2005 as we bring you more news from Summer Wonder Festival as it happens!

When were the last time these were seen?

Fembots look too much like sticks for me.

I've been searching online for more photos and other TF related news from Wonderfest, but haven't found much. Here are two more photos I did find showing off Arcee and Elita-1.

Wish Hasbro gave us nice things like this.
AmonDemon112
I'm definitely in for Mega Zarak and Black Zarak!!!!!
Stepper
Arcee looks OK. Elita looks kinda iffy, but that may be a case of sticking too close to the source material.

Great stuff.

Its a shame they're non-transforming, but I may buy Scorponok just to set next to my Titan Metroplex.
I'm not sure about the Fembots, but look at the poster behind Scorponok. It shows Black Zarek as 540mm tall. 540mm = roughly 21 1/4 inches tall (give-or-take an extremely thin fraction of an inch)

So far, all the items shown/revealed are actual future retail releases, and not limited run garage kits.
OptimusTimelord
Yeah that's the question. I'd be down for placeholder MP fembots, IF they scale well with MPs (trouble is, these things usually don't IIRC – there was an Alpha Trion that looked good but was too small).
It does look good. If only they'd gone the extra mile (or in this case, couple of extra hinges and a scorpion tail/legs!) it could have been awesome. Is the head not even a Headmaster?

During wonder festival these companies get a temporary license from Takara. So these can be considered official figures. Don't get your hopes up on price though. These are very limited and some wonder festival kits can go up to over a 1000 retail. So imagine aftermarket. It's what is considered normal for exclusives in Japan.

I am VERY disappointed that D-Style Convoy doesn't transform….
That company has made some FANTASTIC transforming/partsforming SD robots, why couldn't they do it with Prime when another company ALREADY did it???
BWfan86
+1, especially with an official and 3P transforming Arcee coming out in the next year
Space Jawa
I have never understood the point of Transformers that are completely incapable of actually transforming.
Rockdown
That Scorponok looks fantastic. I would like to get my pincers on it.

What is the price on these???
Raiju
Neat. How big/tall do these figures usually end up being?
BERSEKAEL
wow megazarak!!! does he transform? is he a real "transformer"?
Feralstorm
Hope some better-angled shots show up. Arcee looks OK. Elita looks kinda iffy, but that may be a case of sticking too close to the source material.
When I heard "Fewture", I was a little worried Arcee and Elita might get the same treatment as the scary versions they did of some of the Mazinger femme robots.

I've got to say that Scorponok and Black Zarak looks good and seems to be in scale with Fort Max, sadly it doesn't transform.
