We now have official images of several Platinum Edition sets from Transformers Age of Extinction. Here in this update we have:
- Autobots United Five Pack: Contains the previously released Voyager Evasion Optimus Prime and Hound, and Deluxe Drift and Crosshairs with the soon to be released modern Camaro Bumblebee. This five pack features additional paint applications compared to their original releases.
- Breakout Battle: Featuring a screen accurate weathered Voyager Evasion Optimus Prime, Rollbar (from Generations Skids), and Vehicon (From DOTM Deluxe Crankcase)
- Age of Extinction Generations Leader 2-pack: featuring a translucent plastic Optimus Prime and a black redeco of Grimlock.
Check out all the images after the jump!

Guess that means I'll be buying online then. I don't mind since I don't like paying TRU's high prices

All of the platinum sets were shared exclusives with toys r us (all countries) and bbts, however their us appearances were few and far between. At this point you're pretty much limited to bbts and eBay.

Hi, everyone, did any know about Transformer AOE Breakout Battle Platium BOX set release date in United States ? Or is that box set is Canada toys r us exclusive ? Could anyone help me. Thanks
LegendAntihero
I hope Amazon still has these in stock so I can order them with my Prime membership. If they qualify for Prime, these sets will be at my house in two days

Hmm…so I should probably just go ahead and order it from BBTS, that way it guarantees TRU gets it in stock before my order even arrives.

BBTS in stock.

Has there been any other mention of the Breakout Battle set?
Blot
Yeah, I'm hoping this makes it out soon! With all the new RID and Combiner Wars toys beginning to come out, I'm wondering if this will be cancelled…

TRU Canada's got the Breakout Battle Set available for ship to home and free in store pickup, hopefully TRU US will list the same soon:

Are there any bigger pictures. These are kinda small and hard to see

For those not in the loop: 20% off + free shipping at HTS. So, I picked up the Autobots United set for ~$106 shipped.

Yep, that party's over here:

And of course BBTS put them up for order shortly after my previous post
BBTS Shared Exclusive Autobots United Five Pack Platinum Edition – Transformers Transformers IV – Age of Extinction Exclusives
Definitely getting these guys. Honestly though, Hasbro should have just made them like this from the beginning, but I'm glad I waited.
Also, these are "shared" exclusives. What exactly does that mean? Who are they sharing this exclusive with? I wish it was Amazon. As great as BBTS is and I'm more than happy to give them my money, if I could this on Amazon with free 2-day shipping, that would be preferred.

We're getting close to December, I hope these come out soon. Still really want the Autobots set.
Still want the Dinobots too, but not AS much.

Although, this set is still strangely marked as "discontinued" in the computers at work, so that doesn't bode well…
harveydent
Add to the fact that people already think TRU grossly overprices their stuff, and to have BBTS charge almost double what TRU does…
