Well we had 2 Leader Bots in AOE so 3 Cons this time will balance it out.

They haven't made any Decepticon Leaders in 4 years. I can see why people would find it odd that they'd release 3 in a row all of a sudden.

IIRC, it's based on the Cybertronian form he had very early in the war.

He's good from the waist up, but those legs need some bulk.

These are still coming, and they are the wave before Thundercracker. I expect they are just a bit further out due to the size of the toys and the resultant difficulties in shifting the size class. But they will come. Make no mistake.

Mostly, i was it's just curious how little noise there's been. You'd think there'd at least be a preorder somewhere by now.

I wonder if given that they are 2015 releases they may have decided late in the process to put them in CW packaging, and it was far enough along that it caused a delay?

The Combiner Wars have been officially released in Asia and the UK with Europe soon to follow – no theft involved unless the Smyths Toy Company is stealing from the factories in Vietnam

I expect they're still coming. People are just more interested in Combiners, so are stealing them, or Hasbro is handing them out, or however people are getting them. We have seen a lot of the Deluxe and Voyagers, but unless we see enough to combine them, the combined modes can't be shown off, which is their main selling points.

If they are canceled, I will be disappointed. It'll be terrible to be one step further away from a complete MTMTE collection.

Was just thinking about these this AM.

I'm curious at this point, are these still getting a main-line release? Will they end up being exclusives to somewhere? Will they be released in Combiner Wars packaging? If shunted there, will they come out before or after Thundercracker ~ it seems very un-Hasbro-like to release 3 Cons and No 'bots in a size class in such rapid succession…

Just seems odd that we're at the last weeks of the year and Combiner Wars are hitting the shelves and we've heard nothing preorder wise or seen any in-hand samples.

I just want to see something more of this mold; in hand, official, solicits, something!

I could definitely see them making a Tidal Wave – not to combine with Arm. Megatron, but I can see a Leader class Overlord being heavily remolded into something remotely passable for Tidal Wave.

I still lament on how close the original Tidal Wave came to being a really, really awesome toy. If only he had some working knees (an upper leg swivel would have been sufficient). But like with nearly all of Armada, they just seemingly intentionally left it wanting.

I had an idea for Overlord a while back, not as a Tidal Wave remold but an Omega Supreme remold follow me here
Over Lord is a Tank that forms the core body and legs, with a jet that forms the arms and head yes?

Omega Supreme is a tank that forms the torso and upper legs, a rocket for arms, and launch gantry that shatters into a gajillion pieces to make legs and backpack.

my idea: Overlord as a Leader class figure, Omega as a titan class, sharing the core Tank.
