Curious… How is it "Lazy ass shit"?
Honestly, I've always thought the mold could work as a movieverse figure, given the face sculpt and transformation. The Prowl figure could work for Hot Rod/Rodimus if he were to scan a realistic earth vehicle. Sure the flames could've probably looked a little different, but using a Hot Rod sticker sheet gets the point across pretty good, in my opinion.
Given that it would appear the entire figure was painted, I'm pretty sure that wasn't being lazy.
So please… tell me why you believe this repaint to be "Freaking dumb.", "Lazy ass shit."

I don't think many people realized this but Astrotrain was much more than a simple repaint. He was a complete custom that could have been a contest entry entirely by itself. I worked off of pictures of the actual Japanese steam locomotive Astrotrain was based off of.
Also for those that didn't see it Friday the flame on the oil derrick was lit with flickering LEDs, but the batteries died by Sat morning and I didn't have time to replace them.
I'll have to download the pics from my camera so I can post some here.
