We have received information that Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark video game will not only feature Transformers Live Action Movie and War For Cybertron Optimus Prime, but also G1 Optimus Prime as well.
“Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark will merge the Cybertron game universe with the Michael Bay films. And there’ll be more than one version of Optimus Prime playable, including a long-time fan favorite.”Check out this cool TF: ROTDS Optimus Prime Vignette video:

We're getting movie skins and earth levels? Cool

It's unlikely to happen, but I kinda want to see a figure based on this particular design. The proportions are interesting.

We can only dream

Sums up my feelings about the game. But everyone keeps asking for Call of Cybertron ("I want giant robots just fighting each other!" "And Michael Bay sucks!") so that's what we get. They could just put out a Marcus Fenix skin and it would fit into this game.
And what's the deal with that corkscrew transforming sequence? Is Prime transforming or performing Cammy's cannon spike?
Give me a mission based game in a San Andreas style map where I don't know if that car I just flew past is Bumblebee or just a yellow passenger vehicle.

G1 Prime… with a hover mode?
I saw him with hydrofoils in the G1 cartoon, and that still makes me scatch my head.

Oh joy it is a battle arena game yeah !!!!!!!!!

Hmmm. This game still looks like they're just using the same models as FOC. But I'll wait till a review to pass judgement and whether or not to buy it.

Ha, bit announcing that movie prime looks the coolest of the 3! Lol

It was a rerelease. They didn't have to make the game. That's my whole point.
That game was hilariously bad.
Because it'll be exactly what we got with FOC, which is a shame considering we need more WFC, less FOC.
And it not changing is a positive or something to be excited about why?

Wrong. They've made some decent games too. The happened to make the tie-in game for The Incredible Hulk and that game was open-world and allowed you to destroy every single building. You could throw cars and they would get lodged in buildings plus there was multiplayer where another person could take control of the Abomination and the two players would duel across the city just like in the film.
I really want this game to be good but what's really annoying is that we've seen nothing new. Why are they showing off a character we got in the last game as if he's new? Only two things have stood out to me since the first trailer, 1) Optimus was crouching behind cover and 2) Stealth Force is obviously back for gameplay balancing.
Still, the game doesn't appear to have changed since FOC. From what I've seen the only change will be a new story and added characters, no new weapons at least. Escalation should be very good this time though.

edge of reality did a great job with the mass effect trilogy. I think we will get the best transformers movie game yet from them
ZapRowsdower
I thought WfC has better Multi than FoC. FoC's multi was full of cheap kills and suped-up players — I didn't see as much balance as in WfC. Or maybe more cheaters in FoC?
Don't let logical expectations and facts ruin your "fun". Let's all be positive! Yay.
High Moons also made Deadpool. Have you played that? I don't think they were the best studio to begin with. WfC and FoC were fun, but by no means AMAZING or BEST GAMES. They were comparatively great, but given how sh*tty past TF games have been… that's not exactly a big compliment.
Good points. Plus, am I the only one who finds AoE Prime's truck guns to be ridiculous???? He's a damn truck, not a tank. The f*ck is he doing with a dozen canons erupting out of his cab??? Let's completely overpower the fan-favorite characters, and under-power actual tanks. Woo.

I didn't give any advice, I was just making a sarcastic comment. I don't have any reason to get hype and I have plenty of reasons not to which have already been stated by others.
Why would a game like WFC/FOC need a cover system when people can jump/double jump/air dash/transform/throw grenades/fly/use special abilities like cloak and hover? Transformer games should be about mobility and movement. A cover system is a poor idea and while I'll reserve judgement for their execution of the idea, I'm not excited for it.
Ugh, and AOE Prime has ape like proportions, nothing like he does in the movie. Gigantic, elongated arms, huge hands, tiny legs, and no one in these Cybertron games seem to know how to stand up straight. The lean, athletic builds of the movie guys do not fit the blocky, squat Cybertron models, whom the animations were made for. Movie Prime in this game looks absolutely ridiculous.
SpinalCord
Looks like shit.

Because there's a difference between a studio how hadn't made big games and a studio who has done nothing but ports for several years.
bumblebee22
Why do people keep hating on the developers. Seriously High moons studios hadn't really made any big games before WFC and they ended up giving us two of the best transformers games. I think we should just wait until the game comes out to start trashing it.
Haloid1177
Campaign was shit, they neutered Escalation, and made no improvements from WFC. Yep, boring. And now a less capable developer is handling the franchise who hasn't made a good game in almost a decade. Excuse my lack of optimism.
