Rounding out the official images we have received from Hasbro, we have a look at the Transformers Hero Mashers. It’s a series which takes from many eras of Transformers including Drift from Age of Extinction and the Generation 1 Optimus Prime. These non-transformable toys can interchange their parts – or “mash up” – to create unique robot designs!
Two different assortments were listed in the official images we received:
Hero Mashers Figures Assortment – includes Bumblebee, Springer, Starscream and Age of Extinction’s Drift
Hero Mashers Battle Upgrade Assortment – includes Optimus Prime, Megatron and Bulkhead

Are these compatible with the Marvel Mashers?
VictoryLeo19
Any idea when these are coming out? For some ungodly reason I'm interested in buying basically all of them.

You do know that you just basically asked the sun to implode and not affect our orbit or climate right
vrba79
Like a somewhat less sucky version of Action Masters.
Sidecutter
Anyone else notice that in the pics of Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron "normal", they forgot to restore the correct thigh? Megatron has Starscream's right thigh, Optimus has Bumblebee's right thigh installed backwards as his left thigh, and Bumblebee's right thigh is actually Prime's left thigh installed backwards.
MasterZero
It reminds me of them changing Ironhide into Bulkhead in Prime.
I believe the legit reason was because Ironhide died in DOTM, they didn't want to confuse kids with another Ironhide in Prime. So BAM. Bulkhead.
RodimusZero
Feels like the Hound/Bulkhead thing is going to get confusing for kids… Why can't Bay just do it simple/right for a change?
LegendAntihero
I would like it if Hasbro made these figures cartoon accurate. The proportions don't impress me.
Macross7
Pretty sure I'll be owning G1 Prime, Megatron & Starscream right off the bat. Grimlock probably as well.
BScorpinok75
if these did well i would love and more than likely grab G1 versions of Sunstreaker, Jazz, Bluestreak, Trailbreaker and Hound…of those on display only G1 Prime calls out to me…
Aernaroth
They haven't done it yet to my knowledge, but if this line doesn't get a Super Skrull figure the person responsible needs a swift sacking.

I actually checked out the Marvel ones again today, and I was wrong, aside from a waist point the limbs are pretty well articulated after all. I was very close to picking up a Captain America and Hawkeye today.
So very close.

Who was that one bot who said "Alt modes are for wimps?"
Kick-Off! Right.
Has anyone else quoted him yet?
Autovolt 127
I don't like these.
Aernaroth
I wondered they'd do more than Marvel figures with this gimmick. The style isnt for everyone, but it's a business model that encourages collecting, and could be a ton of fun for kids in terms of play value.
Roufuss
If these are like the Marvel ones, they actually have a decent amount of articulation. I own the Dr. Doom one, and he has more than five points of articulation — these are just bad pics.
For the price ($9.99), I was pleasantly surprised at what I got. I expect these to be the same price: $9.99 for the basic figures and $14.99 for the upgrade packs.
I'll get Springer at least.
Dolza_Khyron
oh good. so now i can have optimus driving his own car.
MegaMoonMan
More trash to not buy.
