Stan Bush has released a new remix of his classic rock anthem, The Touch, which since 1986 has been synonymous with Transformers. This new remix, The Touch: Power Mix was featured in Transformers Fall of Cybertron where it played during the game’s credits.
The Touch: Power Mix is now available to purchase from iTunes along with the “Epic Guitar Mix” which was featured in the second half of the Fall of Cybertron credits – click here to buy it and support Stan Bush.
A music video featuring footage from Fall of Cybertron has also been posted on Youtube – for those that have not played the game, there are a couple of spoilers in here:

Yes it was. I've had this for over a year I think. Might have even posted about it when it came out. It launched around the same time as the game.
Edit: my itunes account show that I bought it Sept 2012 lol.
Hadn't seen the video though.
Um, fellas:

Waaaaaaaaaaaait.
This wasn't out already?
Batman
Every time I hear a new version of The Touch, I die a little inside. Stan Bush makes me feel incredibly sad.
DeadCaL
What's with all the whinging? Stan didn't hire himself and force the music into the game. That was High Moons decision.
Novaburnhilde
Nice.
ken8kuhletz08
Amazing. I don't know how people will react to this, but I would like to hear the 'dubstep' version of the song.
Omegatron
I'm still waiting for "The Touch: Smooth Jazz Remix" and "The Touch: Bluegrass."

True, true… some seem very angry at Stan indeed (?)
Is that what they call nerd rage?
Bought ithe new version on iTunes
Hollywood Hoist
Not a fan of this new version, the song works in the 80's because it's light hearted, fun and cheesy, but this version takes itself way to serious.
Though I can't understand how people can complain about Stan Bush not moving on, when we all collect Transformers.
jamarmiller
i like the original, and hate this new one
BidoofdudeofOz
This has been on iTunes for months. Good tracks though.
Psychoshi
I get the criticism, but it's not much different than how a lot of us are 30+ grown ups still enthusiastic about and collecting figure/car toys. Why can't we let go, and move on to more 'respectable' adult hobbies?
opt1musaber
I never liked the original too.
Sideways77
That sounds… shitty.

actuly i agrea though "The Touch" was part of the first transformers movie ever its realy actuly a preety mundain song all in all, then remixing it once in a while and puting transformers to it isnt cool.
Now lets look at what linkin park has given us 3 songs 1 of them made just for a transformers movie.
then next lets look at the humbleing the fall of cybertron trailer song that was epic.
my point is this man here is right 100000% right no way around it at this point
Purple Heart
FOC still kickin' YEAH

Someone needs to be. I know the turbo-nerds think this clown is cool by nothing more than TF association default, but this guy has been (for years already) the equivalent of one of those 50-60 year old pageant queens who still wear their tiaras and have their house decked out in pink trophies and nothing but shit from the far, far, far past… because it was their ONE moment and they have not and cannot let it go. At this point, I honestly believe Stan Bush sits around in a leather jacket & acid wash jeans watching VHS recordings of Knight Rider, Magnum PI, etc. and listening to old cassette tapes of recorded 80's era radio shows & Bon Jovi pretending it still IS the 80's everyday all the time. And the loser seems to confirm this every friggin second year to "all" 10 of his "fans". It's brutal to keep witnessing.
But… yeah… "The Touch"… gee, what a great song… please keep making updated versions
kaszal
Wow… harsh
Shizuka
Interesting, yes…

Simply no words for how epically sad and equally embarrassing this man is.
