By way of 2005 Boards member Niv3k we have an image of a new Transformers Age of Extinction Clapperboard, with an image of a new robot design on it. The design, broadly speaking, seems to resemble the updated look of Bumblebee, who here also appears to be equipped with a shield. Check out the image and see what you think.

Its a Denecke TS-3 digislate. So even if it was not used on Transformers you'd be shelling out about $1400 for one brand new! Factor in the transformers stuff and you'll need a big wallet!
The face plate should screw off though.

^This.

I'm waiting until we get a good pic before judging. This is too black to be the modern Camaro Bumblebee, and I think this design fits the older one. The chest looks like the front, formed into a different, sleeker shape.
DeathsHead
I think it's fair to say that any fuck I could have given about this film has just been withdrawn. No handing out of any coitus by me.
Why am I even on this forum? I'm a fool to myself.

These movie designs get more and more abstract. There's becoming less and less connection between what their robot and alt forms are. The whole thing that I got into as a kid with G1 was the robot designs, looking at the robot, you could kind of guess what it might transform into. A sleek car hood for chest = most likely a sports car. A boxy windshield on the chest = probably a van/ambulance. A turret for a backpack = probably a tank. A cassette window = hmmm, maybe a tape deck?
Looking at this Bumblebee design, he could turn into ANYTHING. From a lawnmower?, a tank?, speedboat, a ball of tinfoil, or….maybe….a car? An animal? Dinosaur? It's like all the robots in these movies become more and more generic, indistinguishable in their bot modes.

This is Transformers remember, EVERYTHING different is bad.
GenericCon
It's not bad. Better then the first movie, at least. Overall, I think it's just diffrent.
LegendAntihero
Huh, they've got their own trademark clap board. I wonder if Universal Studios will sell replicas of it.
MeGrimlock1976
Looks like a couple tangled up turds! Kind of like a smack in the face to the many that were upset and wanted more blocky G1 accurate bots! I will be saving my money this time around. Maybe once the shitty toys hit clearance at TJ Maxx, I will grab a couple to use as trade bait. Probably not! . A turd is still a turd even if it's polished!!
Chaos Muffin
Looks good but probably just for sustaining inspiration. He'll probably look different once they start constructing his cgi model and take away/adding parts.
Pretty sure we'll get both simplified and complicated transforming toy versions for them.
Just like we've had Fast Action Battlers the mainline figs.
Now the real excitement begins. No more people photos, just mostly robits.
Lurkertron
Insectoid body builders, not transformers. If that's where the design direction is heading, well, it's terrible.
bny888
Not sure if I like it, but one thing's for sure, we will once again see an avalanche of Bumblebee toys.

Your sense of taste and aesthetics is measurably, scientifically, unequivocally WRONG! (That's you)

You know who that reminds me of, PRID rumble

Either your being sarcastic or you are blind…
DecepticonsRule
I don't know what Hasbro is thinking making the robots more complicated and simplifying the toys
Dinobot Snarl
i think the non movie character part of the movie toy line should be interesting. often there are few gems there to be had.
Yggdrasil
It REALLY looks a lot like Prime Bumblebee.
Autovolt 127
I need a more clear photo of Bumblebee. I can barely make it out. I do like his spiky shield. I hope we get a good representation as a toy.
