In the eighties, Furman could have told this issue in the space of five pages without losing anything important.
The issue was over too quickly but didn't strike me as particularly bad or boring. Just a lot of noticeable filler and padding. The artwork is okay enough, not great but not the worse of IDW's recent comics. At least the characters are detailed and not almost featureless blocks. I will be glad when this series ends though. What is it, six issues?
Oh, and it really doesn't have anything to do with Prime or Beast Hunters. Not this issue at least. This is a strictly a Fall Of Cybertron comic. Zoom should have been a character only name-dropped in the Prime TV series or else was a toy-only character in the Prime / Beast Hunters toyline. But it seems like they were going for the lazy approach this month.

More specifically, the issue 5 and 6 story is going to [Transformers Prime finale spoilers follow]
Grimlockimus
This is set on Cybertron while the events of TF: Prime BH are playing out, so it's in continuity with the show in a way.
Later on there apparently will be an issue linking the two more directly.
Dark Screamer
Why is it called Beast Hunters when it is about Dinobots? The Dinobots are not in the show.
Chris McFeely
Script's definitely lacking in the substance and sizzle of Scott's efforts from the first two issues, resulting in a very speedy read. But dude, the Dinobots versus fuckin' DINOSAURS? YES.

I thought the issue was good, but pretty short. I understand the need to bring in characterization but Swoop didn't come across as competant. I did like that Grimlock was very compassionate for his teammate though. I read the whole thing in like 5 minutes so I felt dissatisfied, but it has robots and dinosaurs so it hits some happy buttons.

I enjoyed this issue. It seemed really short to me. Story is starting to get very interesting though.

^ I swear I heard him chattering in my MIIIIND.
Autoboticon
Who else read that in his FOC voice? Anyone?
