Hasbro has released some new official images of Generations Titan Class Metroplex. These images show a non-photoshopped Metroplex in all his gigantic glory, showcasing his robot and city modes as well as showing a final version of Scamper, who still sports a red head but now has a painted blue visor. The images also helpfully show Metroplex against his target demographic for scale. Check out the images attached to this post.

Yeah… but I've come to expect there being differences. This thread is misleading though and should be changed. Because those Aren't pictures of the "Final Retail Product" by far.

Don't you love playing "spot the difference between prototype and production paint" :/
No black paint on the underside of the gun. Makes it look too red when in city or carrier mode.
Mewtwo
These pics weren't "Actual" Product either. The retail version doesn't have a Silver face…

That fruit loop Metroplex is really Jokerplex

Is it just me, or does Metroplex look pissed that the kid is handling his ramp-nipple?
Watch out kid, he's about to upper-cut ya!

I didn't know his knees had joints until today. Guess I'm more out of the loop in TF toys that I believed.
Anyway, I'm glad that there's knee articulation so he won't look so static with those skinny legs and waist of his.

yeah you couldnt even use the 10% code on this item, some how that didnt surprise me.

Toywiz might be the worst of all the online retailers when it comes to prices. To say they overprice things is an understatement.
megatroptimus
Express shipping to Canada: $135. Suuuuuuuuuure.

Metroplex shows $149.99 and instock on toywiz.com, I checked shipping and it was $25.78
alot more than I wanted to pay, toywiz also has it listed on amazon for the same price but shipping is $35.00

Talking about the SDCC version, till date we have not seen any pic for that version, wondering how vast difference it will be compare to Hasbro version.
Shin Densetsu
Last 2 years is more like it. The last best mainline TF's were from 2010 IMO.

The last… 10 years?
You mean like, Alternators, Masterpiece, Classics, Universe 2.0, Generations?
Esteban
Comparing what we got the last 10 years this is a step up!

Looks good. Can't wait. Those kids are like the worst actors.

I will own this But the city mode needs some help. hopefully someone will come out with some city add on that turns into sixgun and slammer

I wish I could tell you where the pics he posted are, he WAS on this site a few years ago. I'm not kidding about the taking up his whole basement thing, it was estimated that if it transformed it would be over 6' tall. Some of the buildings in "Metroplex City" were so detailed they had interiors!
$125-250? Guy probably would laugh at offers under $500. (but sadly, I bet he just tossed it after a while)
Any old school guys or mods remember this project? See if you can post a link.
Like a certain Ninja/Comando from an 80's military toy-line?

Looks awesome, I will jump on a preorder for the Hasbro one, that said i am not expecting one until after Botcon/SDCC or perhaps just before.
I can see Reprolabels doing a huge sticker set for him including chrome ones for the legs if that bugs you that much.
as for 3rd party accessories, I for see a transforming scamper , either into a second gun or a bot mode. i could also see six gun spiting into additional fire power for Metroplex .
Straight up guns i'd suspect a 2 pack of g1 esque guns.

Lol thats why I said voyager styleing, if it it was just a straight mock up yea, that'd suck
