Last and greatest from Alfes, it’s a look at the new Masterpiece Transformers releases, Rumble and Ravage (Jaguar). Alfes has posted two great galleries – the first shows Rumble and Ravage themselves, with the second showing their interaction with Soundwave, including Soundwave’s ability to attach Rumble’s piledrivers as an arm cannon. Open the links above to check out the images.
As a bonus, 2005 Boards member onnsake has also got this new Masterpiece series release and is sharing his thoughts in our Transformers Feedback forum. Check them out by hitting the discuss button below and be sure to share your own thoughts when you get this duo in hand.

Sorry for the thread revival, but I recently got MP-15 and noticed that I had two sets of instructions: one in Japanese and one in Chinese. Do you guys know which version I got? I don't think it's a KO (hopefully), just curious.
Anyways, the waist on my Rumble is little loose. It doesn't fully lock in either its extended or non-extended position. Is there anyway to fix that?
TheVENOM
anyone know if you can take ravages feet off? one of mine came on backwards, but im afraid to take one off.
daddytron
That should liven this thread up. But Rumble is blue.
cappeca
Actually the blue one is Frenzy.

Sorry to revive a dying thread, but I just ordered these guys solely based on what I've read here. Thank you all for helping me decide which set to get. Also, great pics!

But anyway, looking at the joints on yours, mine are assembled the same way. But also looking at the joints on yours, at least in that last pic, I dunno how you can get that square corner past the post.
That whole joint rotates under half the post, and the squared off section shouldn't be able to. At least on mine, there was absolutely not enough room for it.
But hey, I'm not going to complain if other people's don't need fixed.

Rewind
That is weird. I only have Rumb…er…Frenz…um…RED GUY, so that's the only one I can speak for. But yeah, both hips move forward just fine without forcing them. I don't have mine on hand at the moment so I can't check, but could it be an assembly issue? Like, is it possible some leg parts could be assembled backwards or on the wrong side? Now I'm curious how the Hasbro ones will be.
Anyway, here's my Red Tape Guy sitting.

Quantum
I had the same problem with my Rumble, but my Frenzy has full range of motion. Weird.

Can you look carefully at the swivel joint when you do that, and is it kind of bending the square corner out and around the hip's peg?
This is the illustration that I was talking about.
The black section represents the lower part of the leg, and the red section represents the part that goes up into the waist area. Most of the black section is rounded, and the red section overlaps it at the top.
But there's a squared corner on the black section, so that when the leg is rotated forward, that squared corner comes into contact with the red post. The only way to get that black section to rotate further is to force it over to the left, which warps the joint and moves the squared corner around the peg.
I looked at the hips on them for a while before I decided to hack away at two $30 MP's, so I know it wasn't mold flash.

Matt Booker
That's really screwy.
No extra flash or anything like that. I've had them for a few months now before I decided to fix it, so I've looked at them plenty.
It was a squared corner that bumped into the post for the hip's balljoint. The only way to get it past that would be to force the swivel joint slightly apart in order to move it that way. (You can see a diagram of this on my guide.)
So maybe there's a running change or something? I know other people that have this issue, and I've seen it in video reviews (though I don't think it was mentioned, it can be seen when articulation is demonstrated.)
Anybody else have or not have this issue?

Gilgamesh
They do move forward, but on mine the joint is hella tight and it's a bit scary, like I'm gonna break it.
REMINATOR
Same on mine, both Frenzy and Rumble leg can swing 90 degree without any issue.
Rewind
Did you have extra mold flashing or something? The legs on mine can move forward into a full 90 degree sitting position with no modifications.
Matt Booker
Sixteen pages with barely any pictures and nobody complains about the hips on Rumble\Frenzy?
The lack of forward hip movement is my only complaint about the mold. It's got a full range of motion moving the legs backward, but forward there's barely anything.
There is an easy fix for it, though. With a pair of flush cutters it can even be done in less than a minute for both Rumble and Frenzy.

Rumble is fine but damn, Ravage is a HUGE disappointment to me.
I guess Classics Ravage it is, in my display![[IMG]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v420/ironmaniac/smilies/confused-smiley-013.gif)

^I used to think like you until I purchased 2x Prowl plus 2x Bluestreak for $160AUD from Anime Export. For the same price I can purchase only one of each from BBTS. That's a massive difference. I'm willing to risk QC issues for half the price.
Deceptigtar
I usually never buy from non USA retail sites regardless of price because when qc issues arrive or issues with orders it becomes a pain in the ass to resolve as I have experienced and would rather not deal with any possible headaches.
Megatron31
I have had several bad experiences using some of those less expensive options you speak of.
OMEGAPRIME1983
Oh trust me, if I had the funds at the time when they were first released, I would have much preferred to of gotten them at the lower price points. But I couldn't…
