CelticMutt
If that actually were Skids on the box, then he'd be released in the same was as the other IDW deluxes. Again, more evidence that it's not Skids.
PredaconElder
I don't think Skids is going to be released in that line. He is probably like Senator Ratbat and Reflector with with regards to Scourge and Perceptor, something Hasbro is going to release later.
Sockie
I don't think it is Skids–if it were, wouldn't Roberts be writing four spotlights rather than three?
Acteon
The comics really are looking pretty damn awesome. I'm also pretty sure it's Skids on the Metroplex box, and if it is, then it's epic.
Yggdrasil
I see Megatron, Galvatron and Shockwave's guns on Hoist cover.
This is going to be some made up shit right there! Like Hoist telling a story
"Yeah I was stuck on an alien world running away from Shockwave. And them Megatron came and he started shooting at me! And then adn then and GALVATRON MOTHERFUCKING GALVATRON CAME OUT OF NOWHERE! And then they had a tag-team against me BUT I STOOD MY GROUND!" etc.
Sy-Rein
Just read the news of a Hoist spotlight and immediately thought: sweet! Generations Hoist is all but confirmed! Can't wait for the comic and the figure. The possibility of a Classic-verse Hoist is the only reason I bought RtS Grapple.
PredaconElder
I love the new Hoist mold. He doesn't look like the G1 version, but there is something uniquely "Hoist" about him. Can't wait until the toy comes out.
Sockie
And the third weapon resembles Galvatron's cannon. Yeah, I think there might be something odd going on in this story. Guess we'll find out in May.
Star Saber
Anyone think Spotlight Hoist might involve a flashback or at least some illusion/hallucinatory effect type of story? One arm on the cover resembles Shockwave, the other resembles Megatron's new arm weapon.
shamanking282
Except that Metroplex's head is regular black on the box. Also, Tracks and Wheeljack don't look alike either, but they're remolds of each other.
DJW107PRIME
Well Hoist even more confirmed ahead.
CelticMutt
And go to Hollywood!
CelticMutt
Wrong. It looks nothing like Skids, except MAYBE being blue. What's more likely is that it's "comic" blue, meant to represent black.
REMINATOR
Whoo, I didn't expect to see my boy UM after MTMTE #14, looks like he survived Overlord and I'll have to continue reading MTMTE series, lol. Even better, his leg armor got repaired in white color like the cartoon. Unless, Josh ran out of red ink, muahhaha.
Maverick Hunter Christian
Hey, I'm hoping Hoist has some amazing adventures. Its way past time for the guy to get his due. Almost 30 years of existence and all he's ever gotten to do is massage Grapple's porcelain ego.
shroobmaster
Why can't it be some amazingshit?
Mechafire
Well it's being written by Roberts so I doubt it'll be shit. I think at worst it'll be kinda meh like Spotlight Orion Pax.
SPLIT LIP
Hoist?
Oh God that's either gonna be amazing or shit.
Also I love how MTMTE's cover shows a few characters jammed in as it is, and now everyone who's not on the cover is obviously dead. Because it's impossible that they could just not be there.
Megastar
The Necrobot's list is coming true.
Yggdrasil
I swear if Whirl and Chromedome die I will kick a puppy in the balls!
MTMTE won't be same without them ))):
