Mine hasn’t
Olivus Prime
I owned this a few years ago and I don't think the gold plastic is the same as that which suffers from GPS. The gold plastic in Omega is lighter and less swirly. He always felt very sturdy when I owned him.

Don’t have the figure myself but from what I read it doesn’t
Astrotanker
just wondering if this figure suffers from gps?
Skeeve
He scales perfectly with Herc.

^^^The baby's high chair detracts a bit from the epic-ness of this shot, but a great pic nonetheless!
razingstorm
He can look pretty good with Dev.
ChErikS
Such a great figure, just wish he scaled with CW Devastator.

I know it's late, but I just sharing some pictures of what I've done with my own YOTS Omega.
LegendAntihero
Im regret not buying one of these when I had the chance
Shin Densetsu
I agree. This OS is an example of how retools ought to be done.
Starscream Gaga
He looks great with Metroplex. I think the two scale well together. Extra good if you collect the Generations Legends.
Fallout
did this guy seriously come out two years ago? crazy…
was just looking at pics of him and am pining for him bad. i love the idea of the huge transformer having to break in half fo transform.
deruberhanyok
I wouldn't mind seeing some as well. Slochmoeller posted a height comparison in the Metroplex thread, though – Omega is significantly taller.
Skeeve
I could take some after xmas.
Fallout
damn i wish i had gotten this guy but as a movie collector he'd have no where to go
are there any pics of him with armada tidal wave?

Another Johnny-come-lately posting. YOTS Omega arrived today, just in time for Christmas Eve. I only regret that I didn't get this sooner. I'm as much a G1 purist as anyone else, but this toy is completely satisfying, from both a G1 perspective and from a pure toy perspective–the simplicity, quality, and robustness (and heft!) are exactly what I look for in a modern Transformer, and what I feel have been missing in a lot of modern TFs.
I had an eye on Genesis, but the proportions and general look are so much better (no chicken legs, no stupidly huge claw/cannon). As far as the overall shape and design, it feels way more accurate to the spirit of G1 Omega than Genesis. And at a third of the cost, it feels like a steal.
Probably the most satisfying TF purchase I've had in a long time.
I would love for MakeToys kit to come out as well, though I'm not sure how the wings would clip in exactly–there don't appear to be too many spots that could hold them.

I love these guys.
