Third party group Maketoys announced today, via their website, two new remolds of their Battle Tanker armor set: MT-02P and MT-02B. The armors have been recolored to match Botcon 2012 Shattered Glass Optimus Prime and Botcon 2012 Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus, and feature new chest and shoulder parts, and replacement head and weaponry.
Price and release date are unknown. Please remember this is a third-party product not licensed or endorsed by Hasbro or Takara.

The armor doesn't cover the entire shoulders at all and that's why they're red; so that the red flap doesn't look insanely small with a bunch of blue around it.

I guess each to their own, but I'm not a fan of the Cross Dimension UMagnus design. So I'm not looking forward to it. I would rather have the old Reveal The Shield mold in UMagnus color w/ the battle armor like that digibash. Also, I'm more of an Armor UMagnus fan so that may have some bias as well.

That sucks. I actually had that happen when I first started collecting back in 2011 or so with a Shadow Commander from FPJ. Kept the product and pretty much laughed in my face.

My bad. Haven't taken it out of storage since… 2013? Last pic I had posted of a trailer has that date. Even then, I think I actually put a Prime faceplate instead.
I mean I can't be the only one that forgets what some accessories were like… You received a thread inactive for three years with a what appears to be a cool, but one-of-a-kind Gento deco too!
Another deco I thought feasible was Galaxy Convoy… A flip of that Josh sketch of Nova Prime using that mold.

Oh man… this UM recolor brought back painful memories. I had commissioned a custom recolor, sent the figure / trailer to this customizer from Malaysia. Never got anything back.

That's the rts mold. They technically didn't even show gento in the dia colors.
Anyways the Cross Dimen Magnus is better anyways so hopefully that comes

Every time I see this mold and especially in other color redecos, I am still pissed off at MakeToys for never release Ultra Magnus in his original colors! The image below is the closest for my reality. Damn you MakeToys & Kos

The armor does come with a clear, skull faceplate and it's pictured in the post you quoted.

That's something else. Cool to see.
Given the armor bits cover the arm and shoulders, I think the inner bot should be blue on those parts. It'd be more accurate to the Core bot.
Also wished the armor would have come with an extra skull face plate to match SG Magnus proper.
