Third party group Fansproject has posted an update on their community website FansProjectCore regarding their upcoming Warbot Assaulter.
According to the update, pre-orders through FansProjectCore will be open soon, and will include some unspecified bonus accessories. The new images show Assaulter in-package next to his fellow Warbots. There are two additional photos of Assaulter in what is presumably his aircraft carrier mode, with tiny, scaled models of Warbots Defender and Steel Core.

Thanks to all our fans for all the patience with so many projects going on. We have many announcements to make starting with this one. FPC will be releasing pre-orders soon for Assaulter and has confirmed with FP that members of FPC that order will receive a bonus with their figure. This is FP’s thanks to FPC and it’s members for their support with Steel Core’s first roll-out. We’ve done some refinements to the system as per feedback and will have those covered in another announcement.
The pre-order date will be announced soon, so stay tuned!

MMC Sixshot isn’t great imo. I sold mine years before the TR one was released but I definitely prefer TR.

It’s great, but ask if you can inspect it first. The hips are notoriously tight and I’ve seen several with stressed or cracked hip joints and some (like one of mine) where a leg was shorn completely off. If the hips are undamaged just open them up and apply some lubricant and you’re good to go.

This is still a favorite figure of mine.
siniquezu
It's much better than the TR one.

Is this still worth picking up? My local toy shop has one that would cost me about $120 and I’m on the fence between that and MMC Sixshot for the same price. I do have a TR Sixshot but I’ve owned it 3 times and sold it twice. If I picked this up, I’d probably try the Jinbao Sixshot for cheap.

Those weapons look great with him. Photo is epic as well!
Maybe advertise in the Legends threads. I swear I just saw someone was looking for this guy.
He works well enough with my Legends figures.

If it’s sealed this is what one sold for recently on fleabay

I have a defender. If I didn't have an assaulter already, I would trade.

Still have a sealed one of these i can't get rid of lol

I just picked up Assaulter for my CHUG display as I wanted something larger than the Titans Return figure. I gave him the Shockwave Lab weapons for TR Broadside, but Assaulter's hand ports are undersized so I had to file down the pegs on the weapon handles to get them to fit.

Frontier Magnus
hey guys!
Yesterday a friend of mine gave me his Assaulter since he couldnt fix the Hips/legs.
I opened the figure to fix it but i can't find any videos/images about that custom/mod… Anyone can give me a hand with that?
Thanks a lot!!

Yuck. That's a bad, bad break, literally and figuratively. It doesn't give anyone a lot to work with.
Dunno how you could actually replace that. It looks like the gear is actually part of the post assembly leading into the hip proper. Basically, you'd be repairing a part that is ridiculously hard to fix. If you're lucky, you MIGHT be able to reinforce the broken loop with a thin washer – try and reshape the gear and glue a washer on one or both sides to hold the thing together, and use some kind of rubber cement/spray rubber to make it a friction joint.
My only other thought would be to chop off the gear portion and try to find an eyebolt that could loop around that peg. Get a dremel and drill out the leg post to fit the eyebolt and glue it in with some kind of epoxy, then use a rubber spray on the eyebolt so that it operates like a friction joint. It'd be a lot of work for something that may not even work, as FP used a lot of weird plastics that don't like to play nice with epoxies.
Honestly, you might be better off served removing the one that's still OK and seeing if someone can't 3d Print you a replacement. I'd also pre-emptively replace the spring on the other leg to avoid breakage there.
Best of luck to you. That's a beast of a break.

In theory, it looks like you could reinforce whatever's left with a rubber gasket or something, but it really would depend on the state of the figure after the break. If you post some photos, someone might be able to help.

The right hip/leg ratchet broke on mine. Is it possible to just remove the hip ratchets entirely?
Optimist_Prime
Anyone have any suggestions for tightening his shoulder? One of mine is a little loose in some positions. I assume it's nearly impossible to do as I'm guessing the screws are behind the glues on carrier mode panels?
Optimist_Prime
I actually did end up opening that ratchet joint. I was shocked at how rigid it was. The shock oil did indeed work. It now feels like an Energon era ratchet. Not scary tight, but holds firm.
Hexatron
You could try some shock oil first but I wouldn't force the movement too much. If it's still uncomfortably hard to move I would shave the teeth down little by little.
Optimist_Prime
Hey guys I just got him in today. Same thing… The front and back movement is tight tight, but usable… However the outwards movement it has just locked right up. You think some shock oil in there might help, or is it really just too much plastic on the teeth?
