How the heck did that happen? Someone on the assembly line is half assing or asleep I tell ya.
Aaron
My roommates just got the Diagon Alley set, and it looks like crazy fun.
You can do Lego on the cheap my thrifty brother. Minifigs are 3 dollars a piece and a glimpse into the joy that is the friction locking building system.

No I will not listen to Mystic, No I shall not!! My Hobbies are expensive enough already my good sir.

I must say, the talk about the 'boyhunter' and Aaron's reactions was one of the funniest things I've heard all week.
But after the intermission, I begin to question Vangelus's taste in music…
ORIO
That intermission made me uncomfortable
tubbsii
yes! it should have a cheetah print bikini as well
MovieGodOptimus
Pedophilic Boy Hunter is the Tarantulas redeco!
tubbsii

I'm looking forward to my next trip to Disney just so i can hit the Lego store there and find something awesome to build… and my wife is even getting in on the Lego goodness, she bought a Lego Cars Mater set, and then I picked her up part of Hogwarts… the madness continues…
Insane Galvatron
I will have a VERY hard time resisting that…

Eh. I was into Lego when I was a kid, but most of the stuff now doesn't interest me. However, I WILL be buying this building kit on day one!

Ahhh, my Lego Brothers. Come to me and listen to me expound on the greatness that is the friction locking brick. Be soothed by Minifigs and enraptured by tales of Collector Grade builds.

I saw some Pirates of the Caribbean Lego at Toys R Us tonight. I almost wanted to buy the Black Pearl, until I saw the price tag. $120 was just WAY too much.

My girlfriend & I got sucked into Lego recently. Started out with me buying Kreo sets to get the little guys. Then we saw blind packs. We must have 30 guys now. I bought her all the Lego games for the PS3 and that fuels it more. The Lex Luthur robot suit is great for $20. Now we're eyeing those monster sets. Fucking Lego man, I don't have room for a second plastic crack habit. Just scored 2 space marines Saturday. He has the old school Lego space logo on his shoulder pad
G1Wheeljack
Yeah I was looking at that set literally yesterday, but it feels more like a $15 item than a $20 one to me. I think if I do get a Lego set though I'll go for some sort of Lego City car or truck for nostalgia reasons.
Lumpy
I picked up the Deadpool helicopter set, i think that's a really good value for the money. there's a few other sets that i want, like the vampire with hearse, but i'm gonna wait a bit for a sale.
CommanderPrime
I didn't even know people didn't care for Ironhide that much! I think he is great! And the pegs on the back of the Commanders I'm pretty sure are for the chest-light-up gimmick that the Driller and Jackhammer have, not entirely for weapon storage. That's why Bulkhead has random clear parts on his chest.

It's even more questionable why that's at emoticon here when you notice the penis.

Aaron is making me want to buy a Lego set, and I totally would if I could find one that made me feel like I was getting value for money.

Vangelus, Aaron is going to kill you for that intermission. (Or better yet, he'll make you watch Superlink.)
Aaron, on the topic of Cyberverse Ironhide, I suspect people were trying to talk down your expectations were the elbows. The stupid, stupid, stupid elbows.
Ironhide has the ball joints on the lower arm and the sockets on the upper arm, instead of the other way around. This is the exact wrong way to do it and needlessly limits the toy's articulation. Elbows built the other way can both bend and move like a bicep swivel. Ironhide's, not so much. The bass-ackward design still means he can bend his elbow, but gives him a forearm swivel and no bicep swivel. This actually irritated me so much that I passed on buying him when I had the money and he was the only new toy in the store.
So yeah, elbows.
