When it was originally announced, the upcoming Last Stand Of The Wreckers Hardcover Trade edition listed an additional 40 pages to what was released with the paperback. Thanks to some detective work from 2005 Board member Abrogate we now have a table of contents of what exactly the new features in the collection will be. All courtesy of an updated Amazon.com preorder.
In addition to what was included with the paperback of Last Stand of The Wreckers, the hardcover will also include the following:
- cover art gallery
- ”Out of Bullets”
- ”Escape”
- ”Zero Point”
- ”In Word and Deed”
- more pages of Autopedia entries
- ”Fisitron’s Facts”
- pin-ups, promo art, guest art
- script extracts and first draft
- ”Squadron X”

Definately going to get this at some point. I normally don't buy multiple releases of a story, but more extras and this story being so good, I really don't mind getting it again. Some things really are worth it.
BB Shockwave
Agreed, that's what I am hoping for as well.
Finally after all these years, we will see what Macabre and Fang transform into!
And I wonder if I can kitbash a Tornado from Cybertron Ransack.
DJW107PRIME
Darn I'm gonna buy it .

PO on Amazonnnn
Optimus1986
Woo! Sooo stoked I never bought the trade.
[Wing_Saber-X]
yes! So gonna have to plonk down some $$$ for this next month.

I want to buy this hard cover but I already own LSOTW in two other formats so I don't know if it is going to happen. Also, when I get my IDW hard cover volume 6, it will contain LSOTW as well.
YoungPrime
Wow they are really milking this arch….
Well hopefully these two new books will make this book the norm in the line of great reads instead of just the exception.

"Squadron X"
YESSSSSSSS
I hope that section has concept art of them (any other bots, im looking at you Xaaron and Flame you cameo-bots.) so it would be easier to draw them all! (especially Macabre and Flame, wtf is going on with your helm Flame doesn't look right at all from the front!)
Spurt Reynolds
I notice that Bullets fills in some of the Blanks with the absent wreckers..
"Roadbuster still caught up in that Sparkeater buisness,Whirl all but a liability,Sandstorm if still alive deep behind enemy lines & Broadside these days all but lost to them"
New profiles look great too.

I already have the original trade paperback, but I might have to get this hardcover version sometime. SO MUCH EXTRA STUFF.
(Although I can't say I like the cover that much. Trevor Hutchinson is a cool cover artist, but the original Roche-drawn one for Issue 1 and the TPB blows this one out of the water.)
Fort Max
Do need!
skiss
I have the TPB but will gladly replace it with this because of all the character bios and additional info.
BB Shockwave
Dang, I wanted to write Tales of Squadron X! Ah, nevermind…
Will be definitely buying this… and selling my old TPB.
Lbsammills51
I'm tempted to get this for the extras, even though it'd end up being the third version of the series I'll end up with, (TPB, this hardcover, and the preorder I have for IDW Collection Vol. 6 later this year).
Abrogate
Oh, that might also be worth drawing attention to. The coverart was originally (in the initial solicitation) the same as Trevor Hutchison's cover of issue 1. Now it's a slightly different Hutchison piece. So, new cover, yay
Boy Blunder
This is the first time I've wanted the Hardcover of a comic, after getting both the entire original series and the trade paperback.
I wish I could hate Roche and Roberts for making me spend money, but I really can't…
Abrogate
I have the TPB, when I get the HC I'll probably give the TPB to my brother as he's recently become a fan of comics in general and this is nearly the perfect TF comic
as Exclusacon said (and I implied with my "constantly pushed back" comment in the first post), Amazon keeps e-mailing me with different dates so I don't know what the confirmed date is. But, with the cover art having changed and the table of contents inserted, I'm guessing it's ready to go to the printers
ORIO
So, is March 6th the new release date?
Rotorstorm
You know, I have the issues individually and the Paperback, I may just have to have this too and I have absolutely no qualms about it!
