It’s not just UK based fans who are getting some good stuff from the “Laminated Book of Dreams” (aka Argos). Argos have updated their website with new official pictures of toys we only found out even existed a couple of days ago! Shown here in official pictures we have: Voyager Class Megatron in robot mode, Deluxe Class Vehicon (new mold) and Bumblebee redeco (with a new head!) again in robot mode. Cyberverse Energon Driller with Knockout is also shown, and can be seen at left. Official pictures of Cyberverse Legion Evac and Mirage – a red RotF Legend Sideways redeco – round out the update.
Also of note, these pages seem to confirm the size classes are getting name updates – Deluxes, a name that’s been around since Beast Wars, will now be Revealers, while the Voyager Class which came in in Transformers Cybertron will now evidently be called Powerizers.

If they can do a Tailgate of simple retool from Cliffjumper mold, they can also do a Windcharger too, aren't we giving Hasbro too many idea for alternate mold,LOL
Paxtin
That'd make for a good excuse for me to get the second mold. Much like I'm going to do with the Hotshot figure.
I have been pondering what other kind of repaint/tools we might see show up in this line.
If there's no plan for him to be in the show, the Wheeljack mold could make for a decent Sunstreaker.
WoundSave
i sort of got the impression that BB's injury was the trailer for FOC, his chest is all damaged, doesnt mean im right, and doesnt mean they cant explore it in Prime.
it may have been on the canadian boards but i had the same thought the other day– i would like to see Prime redecoed toys (at least for now) somehow relate to the show, not redecoes just cause they can. If the blue bumblebee is hotshot then yea, having him in a flashback sequence would be great, but i certainly dont want to see a redecoe type charcter persist in the show for any length of time. The TFP character designs are too unique to the character, i would find it really jarring if there was suddenly a blue bumblebee with the same altmode persisting in the show for half a season. (also had the thought that maybe ratchet redecoes BB blue in the show to somehow help jog Prime's memory- like hotshot was a friend of Orion Pax's)
The Blue BB looks really nice just for the colorscheme, i hope that it is not the same Blue as Prime's colors, something brighter, and that that image has not been obscenely photoshopped to misrepresant the colors.
Tailgate could see a simple retool of Cliff, lose the horns, change the head, and give the new RID mold a different weapon maybe (i assume any retool would be of RID molds not FE)
If the Prime line persists i would accept retools/decos in homage of characters outside the Prime continuity. I probably wouldnt get them unless they struck my fancy for a nice colorscheme or a particular character, and i totally understand there are other people here that would be more than happy to see characters that havent had any treatment in a while see some love.
Lazerwave
I already own evey single unique character from each movie, so who else is there besides Leadfoot or Evac?
Stepper
No kidding, just because they don't do a Dino and you are going to stop the TF movie line? there are other great figures in the movie line to collect beside Dino.
RedAlert Rescue
I wonder if Hotshot could be in the TV show in a role similar to that of Tailgate ?
I can see them using him as Bumblebee's partner or rival in the whole loosing his voice flashback stuff that is in season 2.
He does look a little Like Nightbeat doesn't he. I have to say and it's not often ones does say this but I really like that deco so much so that if they wanted to do that with the DOTM Bumblebee Dlx or Battleblades Bee I'd buy that too.

Are you sure, maybe Hasbro really do not have the intention to shipped their toys to UK,LOL,just kidding.

I swear, Hasbro misread United Kingdom as United States.

I know! I'm really eager to see what this year's Toy Fair and Botcon will bring us!
Thanks! Another good thing about the downsizing is that it could have the Voyager Starscream be more in scale with the FE Prime line. If he's as tall as the Voyager Megatron then he could be more in scale with the FE Voyagers. If you look closely in the show Starscream's more taller then Bulkhead but shorter then Optimus so there's a good chance that the downsizing can benifit Starscream as well!

More than a possibility, it's a sure thing.
Holy shit, I didn't even think of that. Nice!

Seeing how the Vehicon, and Optimus in the RID line are new molds then it's a STRONG possiblty that Arcee and Bulkhead will get new molds of their own later on in the future waves too. The good side to this downsizing is that maybe Arcee can be more in scale with the First Editon line and perhaps the RID line too.
And also seeing how Hasbro is keen on downsizing it's products I wonder if we'll ever get Leader class figures for the RID Prime line at all. It actually seems very unlikey now but if they are still then they can make up for the scale of the Voyager Megatron by making gthe Leader Class Megatron the sze of a Movie 1 LEader so eh'll be in scale with the FE Optimus figure. The same can go for Skyquake and Unicron too.
Or else some Third Party company can always make an upgrade set for the Voyager Megatron so he'll be in scale but that's wishful thinking on my part.

I skimmed this thread, and was surprised to find no mention of Sideburn (I even did a "Find" on each page for search term "Sideburn" and turned up nothing).
As for looking like him, I think the fact that he's that particular shade of blue with wispy blue/silvery flames makes him immediately reminiscent of Sideburn. I could see Nightbeat too, as has been mentioned…. the shape of the car works that way, though the flame colour and overall deco don't really conform.
Sure, the mold doesn't resemble Sideburn all that much (in so much as Sideburn looked like a skeleton with car parts tied to him), but I don't think it's a stretch to say that the "blue flames" approach might have been inspired by a Hot-Rod wannabe from a past series, especially when combined with a name that homages another Hot-Rod wannabe.

Will likely repurpose Hot Shot into Nightbeat. most of these guys are totally bought, especially that Vehicon

I'm not going to lie and say downsizing isn't an issue, but God damn it's not going to be that bad. Cliffjumper is just a shorter Deluxe even by RID standards, just like the FE Cliffjumper was shorter than the others. His a stout, bulky design. Megatron may be shorter than Prime, but he's still adequetly Voyager sized.
Silk Spectre
I'm not surprised by the indications that the Prime line, as well as others, may go the way of the DOTM line (smaller, cheaper, etc…). If they did it with a movie line, when movie lines have been their bread and butter for the past few years, it follows that they would do it with the rest of their stuff.

You're not the first, and honestly, other than the fact his main color is blue, I'm not really seeing it. Make the blue darker, take away most of the red, add a good amount of white, then add the blue w/white flames, and make the translucent parts yellow. Then, you would have a respectable Prime Side Burn. I also guess that, with the right deco layout, the new headsculpt could work for him.
On the topic of the Vehicon molds, while I can still respect the FE mold, I honestly do think that this new one is much better.
Raiju
I can't comment on the new mold's color (since we haven't seen any in hand picture reviews of the figure yet) but I have to agree that the Takara FE mold has beautiful painted silver and purple accents, and the dark navy plastic with metallic flake is really gorgeous to behold in either mode. The silver rims and face are also very nice.
That said, I'm worried about the direction of the RiD line as far as size goes. In hand reviews have confirmed that the new CJ figure is tiny, barely bigger than a Scout. Voyager Megatron is shorter than FE Voyager Optimus. The new Vehicon mold could well be shorter than expected too and may just turn out to be stubbier than FE Vehicon what with Hasbro's downscaling of figures in DOTM and post-FE Prime toys. I hope that's not the case but it's a real possibility with Hasbro cutting corners on plastic usage as well as paint applications.
Stepper
Oic,thanks for the information but i feel that the colour for FE looks much better than this
Karhukjnsi
Glad I made the decision to pass on the FE Vehicon, the RiD one looks sooo tits.
I'm also grabbing that Hot Shot, straight up, I love the colors and new head. I'm also hyped to get my hands on Wheeljack, and especially Soundwave.
I am disappointed as shit with the Voyag-oh, sorry, "Powerizer" (goddamnit…) Megatron, just saw a vid on YouTube, and my god… I am waiting for FoC to reveal something, or a new mold during/after TFP Season 2. Same goes for Voya-GRAH! "Powerizer" Optimus.
Raiju
Wrong.
FE Vehicon actually isn't stubby at all. You can straighten out the shins (they can fold in compactly for transformation), flip out the wheels to the side a little (more accurate to the CGI model anyway) and extend the ankle joints down further to give him even more height (as opposed to the official "chicken-legged" transformation as per the instructions…. only difference aside from the shorter height with the chicken-legs is the tires fold completely flush against the back of the calves and the hard plastic spiked knee pads jut out more prominently). It speaks to the versatility of this mold since you can pose him with either the chicken-leg or the straight-leg transformations and both will be solid for posing.
And again, in hand the back kibble isn't as horrible as some try to make it seem; making mountains out of mole hills there. As for the guns, they look more seamless like they transformed as part of the arms and I like the fact that it can be stored hidden underneath the car alt mode or on the hood to give it more of an armed Batmobile appearance. The new Deluxe mold has a bigger blaster, sure, but it doesn't appear to store in alt mode aside from plugging it conspicuously into a port on the back of the car.
Seriously, dude, you sound like you're trying too hard to justify missing out on FE Vehicon. Don't knock it unless you have it in hand. Personally, I'm very happy with my two purchases and will buy the new Vehicon mold to give my troop builds some variation. Can we can just agree that both molds have their pros and cons and that variety can only be a good thing for us collectors? Sheesh.
