Thanks to the Facebook page of Transformers Galaxy we have new in hand images of 3rd Party Group Maketoys’ 2 pack figures, Hover and Bomber. In these photos we see the two figures in vehicle and robot mode as well some nice in package pictures. We also get a size comparison of the two figures next to a stick of gum. Which gives a nice sense of just how micro these microbots are!
Check out the images after the break and then join the 2005 Boards to join in the discussion.

When a man's gotta point, a man's got a point.
Thank you for giving me a new way to look at these things. Yes I am going with the iGear set of 8 because they look good but they are "too small". This new way of thinking of these bots (same size as G1 minibots) has just made me love these guys compeltely.

I'm guessing it's because these two are meant to complement the Henkei minibot releases (which were strangely missing Seaspray and Powerglide from their ranks). Meanwhile, iGear is doing its own thing and releasing all 8 of the minibots together (these, I surmise, are not meant to complement the Henkei minibots but are instead are intended to be in their own line or perhaps stand in with PP figures). That's my guess, anyway.
That said, I'm definitely leaning toward iGear for a self-contained line since the Henkei minibots are redonkulously expensive with aftermarket prices and I just don't like how ill-proportioned Bomber is. Midget wrestler with a serious case of head-gigantism, fo'reals. XD

dude. these look awesome. are they even available now? my only slight gripe is the visible screw about Powerglide's face

I understand perfectly, everyone wants everything in different sizes. We also already have dozens of G1 style legends figures that these will fit in nicely with, so…?
All shoulda woulda couldas aside, these are updated minibots done in the traditional minibot size. Not really that big of a head-scratcher.

glad they're legends size, and that the designed seaspray's arms to be attached to his body, unlike igears, if you want a scout seaspray, get the cybertron repaint from the first movie, add an autobot logo, and you're set. (have one on my shelf, looks more seaspray than the voyager)

I get what you're saying but you gotta understand. We already have a few deluxe sized minibots from Hasbro. We also have a scout classed Windcharger that fits really well. If iGear would have gone with either scout or deluxe they would have fit in nicely with what we already have.

Last I checked scouts are minibot size.
There are people in the community that do not include Legends in the mainline.

They need to match igear in price, or even go lower if they want my purchase.

Yes, why oh why would a minibot ever be made in minibot size. The madness. ๐

What an excellent question. Scout would've been perfect.

I like these but they are very similar to iGears. MT hasn't eluded to any after these guys where as iGear is promising 8 minibots. iGear is also releasing these for $15 SHIPPED. For those reasons I went iGear.
But to both parties. Why did you go Legend, why not scout???

VERY nice compared to the ones we got in the 80s!
