yeah. that was INTENSE. @_@

Holy!
That's interesting – now I REALLY can't wait to see this episode.
Two things: 1) How is it Raf and June managed to make to the hood in that cyclone? 2) I'm assuming those winds were cold as hell since Bumblebee was running around with his "headlights" on
UnicronFTW
Isn't gonna happen though…

Because Bumblebee is made of Cybertronian metal, assuming that's heavier than normal metal.

Apparently all I want to do in life is quote people.
I'm pretty sure Bumblebee weighs more than a car, or more specifically I think a car has more hollow spaces than a Transformer.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of that
Augh…
Bumblebee can "grip" the ground, and poles and other objects stuck on the ground can resist being sucked in by strong winds a hella lot more than a car can.
Thank you.

A+ post.
Guys, seriously,
isn't gonna die. Stop trying to be so GRIMDARK.

LOL @ people arguing about weather-related physics are portrayed on a children's cartoon about transforming robots from another planet.
Transformed
Cartoon logic? I’ve seen video footage of telephone pools still standing in Japan after getting slammed by power tsunami, while cars and homes were either gone or down the street from where they once were. I’ve seen photos of deeply rooted trees (what’s left of them) still standing while surrounding homes and whatnot where either torn to shreds or no longer present. I wouldn’t completely fault cartoon logic.
This is why I asked the question. Without them being tethered to something, I would expect them to be swept away the second enough of their body exited the car. After seeing the hood, which was locked shut, ripped from its placement, I couldn’t help, but wonder how in the hell is Raf still sit against the windshield without flying away like everything else around him.

Where was this mentioned? I'm not trying to start an internet brawl or a flamewar, I am honestly asking a legitimate question. And after a long hiatus due to school and work, I am finally back on the boards.
GAUGE
gotta love how a raging 5 mile or so wide Tornado has no effect on them as they calmly and casually start climbing out the window and sit on top of the hood. lol
sorry but just sticking your head out the window as the wind smashes against a car racing down a highway starts to tug at you and attempt to pull you out. imagine what a raging vacuum behind the car does. it would practically rip your arms and head off, especially seeming as how a Tornado can cause a simple piece of straw to harpoon itself through a telephone pole.
oh well it's a cartoon. lol I'll still enjoy it for what it is.

Gosh, I sure hope nothing happens to the franchise's mascot and two main human characters in a TV-Y7 show.
I don't think my poor heart can stand the suspense.

I'm with the "what spoiler?" crowd. We got teased, yes, but nothing more than a standard "cliffhanger before the commercials" kind of moment.
It's like Optimus dying in any continuity: don't mourn until you're sure.
Although, the "avatar of Unicron" idea is just batshit enough to be cool.

Haha yes, well I think we should not overlook the simple answer, Bumblebee was trying to rescue them. His options were rather limited. In a perfect world he would have been carrying the Polarity Gauntlet or used the 'Autobots: magnatize' trick from Darkness Rising 5 to pull back the car from a safer distance and come into an effective range sooner than having to get a grip on the car. This is however the dramaitc situation we get, where several misfortunes are compounded together. Where are Windcharger or Powerglide when you need them? In another continuity, haha.
I will preface my little contribution to the scientific musings by agreeing with the fiction physics/ story armour sentiments. Looking at Bumblebee in robot mode, the car and the pole, the automobile seems the most aerodynamically prone to flight. While Bee probably has the most surface area, the car's is arranged like an aerofoil, with air being able to pass by and large directly underneath while the airflow over the thengh of the car's shell takes longer.
But we all know a vortex big enough will take large parts of houses a long distance from where they should be if it is large enough. The shakey bit here is in believing somsone wouldn't get blown away easier when leaving a car. In this particular scenario, all I can offer is that Bumblebee – and inparticular his door wings – are offering enough of a windbreak for the car's occupants to move toward him. 'Til some other physics comes into play, that is. :/

OMG!

That's pretty much it yes. Bee knew he wouldn't be able to hold on to the car forever, it was a risky move to get out of the car and get to him but it WAS the better chance.

Cartoon logic. They try to be realistic, but sometimes they have to be unrealistic for plot purposes. I'm thinking Bee wanted them to crawl into his hand so he could turn around and run away, since when he was holding the car, his back was to the wind and had trouble keeping his footing.
