Don Murphy has posted via his own personal forums regarding the future of the Transformers movies:
“What happens next? Certainly not a reboot. We haven’t lost the Transformers. They didn’t grow up or become expensive like Toby Maguire. I don’t know what happens next. I’m pretty sure there will be a second trilogy. I am pretty sure it will kick ass. And I am pretty sure some of you will hate it because it wasn’t all bots.”

Thread is done.

Okay guys, thread is over, a great way to welcome back Don Murphy to the boards.
Awesome.
Great.
ColdRod
I dont want to get in a debate over it because tone of voice gets lost over a keyboard and valid points come across as hating/moaning.
That scene was just distracting, to me at least, and took me out of the movie for a sec to question what was going on, thats all.

Honestly…

Rza, you'll have to work on another nickname for me. I am 6' 2". 25 pounds overweight and probably twice your age. I ain't Lil'. Dumbass.

Imagine? Really?
Perhaps instead of sitting through 2.5 hours of pointless clutter I should just imagine my own movie instead…actually, that's not a bad idea, thanks Nelson
DonMurphy
I didn't go AFTER haters I pointed out a few on my private personal message board. I didn't even read anything over here until that Rza guys started threatening my family.
Nelson
Like John Lennon said: imagine.
The Autobots split up and were ambushed.
And if Bay had told you, then you would've called it spoonfeeding.
ColdRod
Even if he was just directing it at the hate on his forum, it still applies to the fanbase because the issues he mentions are widespread. I was perplexed at the scene where the autobots were suddenly captured, i dont need it spoon fed to me but i payed to see a complete story, not a connect the dots effort.
RzaSharp
LOL. Lil' Don, you should ask yourself that question before planting it on other people. So precious, Lil' Don.
Nelson
I love the hypocrisy of some of the fanbase.
Like when they take it personal, call us names, and them get pissed when we respond in kind.
I for one, respond in kind. If you're civil with me, I'm civil with you.

This might seem like an odd question but since you are nice enough to drop by and talk with people I figure I'll put it out there. Why bother to go after people you consider "haters"?
As you pointed out just about any film you can name has people who did not like it, but if a film was successful at finding an audience and did well at the box office it seems rather silly to go after the people who did not like it for some reason. Why not just shrug your shoulders and say you can't please every single person every single time but maybe next time we can please a few more.

Finally someone who understands!
Hot Shot.
The Transformers movies are far more divisive than any of those, among fans and critics. Also, those movies stuck much closer to their source material and lost absolutely nothing for it.
OP84
He might have been confusing DreamWorks for Dreamwave a comic book company that published TF comics until it's demise in 2004.
Rikerwota
Assuming that the above posts are actually by Don Murpy, let me just say that you have proved yourself to me as even more juvenile than I had thought possible.
OP84
Mr. Murphy, I wan't a reboot because if you replace Mr. Bay and Shia in the same film series it won't feel the same, I can do without Megan Fox but if Shia and Mike are leaving we might as well get a reboot. Anyway, Megatron and almost all of the Deceps are dead if the movie had ended as the original script intended (Megatron and Optimus forming a truce with Megatron and his armies returning to Cybertron to rebuild it I might have been in favor for a sequel, but with the way DOTM ended in it's entirety I would be in favor of a reboot
DonMurphy
Dear Smart Bot Boy,
What is Dreamwave and where can I buy one?

DonMurphy
Thank you for your vote but as with most of your life it has been noted and ignored.

Dear Ignorant Internet Man
Don Murphy is one of THREE Producers of the movie, including Tom Desanto and Lorenzo D'Bonaventura. He is listed first in all advertising and posters. The Executive Producer credit is NOT The same as a Producer credit at all. Learn before you post, your stupidity is showing.
