Hot on the heels of yesterday’s reveal of the final samples of this year’s Transformers Collector’s Club exclusives, the order process has now gone live!
The Transformers Collector’s Club Tweeted out a pair of links today, bringing fans to the product pages to preorder both G2 Ramjet and Transtech Cheetor. Ramjet will set Transformers Club members back $58, while Cheetor will cost $52.
Fans who are interested in these two exclusive items should head over to the Transformers Collector’s Club store and place their orders now.

I believe the preorder page had something or other about june 15. like "they'll ship within 4 weeks of june 15" or something
they also said iacon packages will ship 4 weeks after the convention.

I haven't gotten mine yet but has anybody else gotten ship notices for Cheetor yet?
Torque

Sweet! Should I expect to get a shipping email, or just wait for the box to arrive?
Megatronwp38
I have not got a shipping e-mail yet.
Soundblaster1
Ramjet started shipping yesterday.

So, Botcon's over now, right? Shouldn't Ramjet (and Side Burn) be shipping soon?

Airazor was also in the 2006 comic, helping Unit 2 (Tigatron) chase after the Preds.

As for Thundercracker though, if we get more G2 fiction (which will probably happen eventually), we'll probably see him turn up.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. All the characters on that page were originally meant as jokes, using existing exclusives in SG color schemes. But, at the time, they never intended to re-use exclusives, so Classics Thundercracker into SG Thundercracker wouldn't have been on their radar. Now, however, it could be considered his first appearance
Edgewise
I think AMTC was at least in that little 2-page April Fool's "Shattered Expectations" deal.

The 2010 set did use a lot of guys that weren't G2, but every figure that was sold that year appeared in the comic. Razorclaw, Elita One, and Alpha Trion did -not- appear in the included comics for their years. But they did appear in comics for other years (Razorclaw in the "plot twist" cliffhanger of 2006, Elita as a main character in 2007, Alpha Trion in the Club Magazine Transtech and Shattered Glass comics, but not in a Botcon comic).
Galvatron will have also appeared in the Magazine SG comics. Actionmaster Thundercracker would, presumably, just be a bone for the fans (unless him and Ramjet appear in future comics from the G2 storyline, but so far Punch hasn't been used anywhere so it's not a guarantee)
And for the other Club exclusives, most of them didn't appear in comics, but they did appear in the Club's text stories:
Nightbeat had his own comic
Astrotrain was both the star of his own Cybertron story and also appeared as his SG self in those stories.
Airazor pulled similar double-time, appearing in both her own BW story (which also featured Flamewar from the 2005 set), and in the Transtech stories.
Piranacon appeared in a Classics-themed story (which also included random Hasbro repaints like Storm Cloud and Movie Wal-mart Crankcase).
All of the Nexus guys appeared in the continuing storyline until Dion's release, and he and Side Burn became featured players in Wings of Honor.
SG Cyclonus appeared in, of course, the SG comics
Cheetor, of course, is one of the stars of this year's comic
So, yes, Punch will be the only one without fiction, barring how Thundercracker and Ramjet end up. And yes, this has digressed far from the original "Alpha Trion wasn't in the 2007 comic" point. (Well, Punch appeared in the Botcon 2010 youtube commercial, if that counts for something? Technically, so did Ramjet!)

Alpha Trion's an iffy. He can be dual purposed into the 2007 theme or out. 2009 was the first clear year with the Razorclaw/Elita-1 but that was also the 1st year that there were three packs. 2010's a ??? but the theme itself was iffy. It was called G2 for simplicity but was really "everything between G1.5 and RID" as the addition of the sky-byte and G1 deco'ed Gnaw/Sharkticons was out of left field. But yea, at least two packs out of every year has followed the theme.

Still sucks if a bad seller decides to prey on people.
I would recommend people wait to purchase these on the aftermarket. There were a lot made (hopefully we see numbers at some point) and I do imagine that some people will find deals at a lower price. (PCP selling at 110 a few times on ebay comes to mind).

It may happen, but I think it still against eBay policy. But if everybody's happy, I guess it's OK to both parties.

Preorders of items happens a lot on ebay. way over 30 days. I had a few where my order was filled 6 months later.
Thundershot
Even though people like to pretend, 2007 Alpha Trion was not part of the 2007 theme. He even had a different card than the rest.
Edgewise
Yes, usually they do. Or to say it another way… Sometimes they don't.
In 2009 the Razorclaw/Elita-1 2-pack was not part of the "theme", or at least not part of that story. They were figures that went with the 2006 and 2007 Botcon themes/stories.
Roufuss
I thought Botcon usually kept all the figures of the same theme? Like last year was G2, 2008 was Shattered Glass, etc.
Am I just wrong? I'd be disappointed if AMTC was one of the souvenir figures only because I figured we'd be getting a couple more Animated retools (besides Cheetor's partner.)
Saves me money, if it turns out to be true.
