Many United States Transformers collectors have been searching effortlessly (and in vain) for the Reveal the Shield Scouts and Legends figures. Our friends overseas have had plenty of luck, and those who order from online collectable stores have been fortunate, but what’s in the store for the rest of us?
We may have your answer, and it’s not good.
According to various Hasbro Retail Merchandiser Reps, it would seem that Hasbro has chosen to cancel the Reveal the Shield Scout Assortment in the United States. Beyond the evidence that these figures cannot be found anywhere, word is coming in that some online retailers are cancelling existing pre-orders that they now cannot fill.
This means that the United States may not see a retail release of Windcharger, Chopsaw, Rumble, Bodylock, and Downshift.
As for the Reveal the Shield Legends Assortment? That is apparently still up in the air, but the major retail chains are not placing orders for these figures, as they are still sitting on Hunt for the Decepticons and there’s apparently a giant, blockbuster movie and toy release on the horizon that they are ordering the H-E-double hockey stick out of…
The last bit of information we got out of our conversations is that Hasbro is currently looking at a different avenue to get these figures released. We’re going to keep this as A RUMOR for the time being, but if you want to be assured any of those figures, your best bet is to start looking at imports or online retailers.
We’ll keep you posted.

MOD says don't pass go, don't collect $200.
Seriously, no need to bump up the thread just to complain about distribution especially when it has been independently confirmed by Hasbro and people in the stores that the stores themselves were not buying.
But there's no need to be so condescending either toward one person who feels hard done by that they shouldn't feel bad because the rest of the world has it bad. Because it is their opinion, for good or for ill. Even if I agree that the US has it better than we do.

FYI I'm sure the site MODS will give you a full refund if you are unhappy about other people's opinion.

You need thicker skin. Motor_Master wasn't trolling you. If you think that was trolling, well, your comments already prove your perception of things are a bit off base.
So it's ok for you to talk shit about Hasbro – shit that's wrong, actually – , but not ok for people to call you out on it? Butt hurt much?
Nevermore
It's just my OPINION that you act like a bloody fool right now! It's how I feel about you, you know, feelings? It doesn't mean that it has to be backed up by fact, that's why it is an opinion! It could be factually wrong entirely, and it could clash with everyone else's opinion, but hey, it's MY OPINION!
Dark Skull
For a moment there…..you just sounded like Yoda
But yeah I agree….some of us have been lucky to find Windchargers and Grapples. I may go on the search again today just to see what I can find
Anyone looking for anything, pm me soon……I won't be online for most of the morning after I get off of work
Well, people are letting you know how they feel too. Honestly, I think you're over-reacting. If it wasn't for me talking to department managers in some stores and a local Hasbro rep to find out whats going on (albeit some of them had no clue), I wouldn't know what's going on, I'd be disappointed myself, but I wouldn't "hate" Hasbro just because I can't find a toy I want. Honestly you can't really blame Hasbro. For example, several Walmarts in my area shrunk their toy department. That's right! They made it SMALLER. Said they would only carry "certain" stock and get rid of others that they'd have in inventory. Which means, they can't order as much stuff as they "used to." This also means, some lines….they won't order anymore either. Hasbro made these toys. Its up to the stores to carry them. Hasbro can't tell the stores "hey you need to carry these figures!" If you can't find them anymore at your local Target or Walmart…..don't blame Hasbro….blame the stores (or the manager at the stores that made the decision to shrink down their toy department)! At the very least, stores like TJ Maxx and Ross are carrying the RTS figures now….to a degree.
Fishdirt
It's not hasbro. It's the stores. This was completely proven by unopened boxes making their way to ross, tj maxx and marshalls. Rocket science this isn't.

You may not have it perfect, but you have it a lot better than TF collectors in pretty much any other country on the planet.
MicromanSpyBoy
Wow. It's guys like you that make me question even being on this site. It's an OPINION. It's how someone feels, you know, feelings? Even Transformers have feelings, so you should be able to understand.

You can't be serious! How about visiting Europe sometime, especially the eastern countries, and have a look at what is on our toy shelves. Mere fraction of what you get in US. Oh wait, check the prices – cyberverse play sets for 27 EUR, deluxes for 21 EUR, voyagers for 36-38 EUR, leaders 60-68 EUR… HFTD Soundwave & Bumblebee 2-pack for 50 EUR… Oh dear, just come here and I will show you a store where they still carry ROTF supreme Devastator for 130 EUR.
And you can guess just how much we earn here so every toy purchase involves great sacrifice.
After you do the tour, then talk crap. If you want a Windcharger, just send me a PM. They are being sold for 15 EUR (that's the new price for scouts), shipping to US will be 7,30 EUR + 0,50 EUR for packaging.

I I I, Me me me. That's all this post seems to be about.
Think of people in Europe who get far, far shittier distribution of toys.
Think of us here in Australasia who get get most things but at increased prices.
Just because YOU don't get what you want, when you want, doesn't mean that Hasbro is shit. How many times does the story about retailers not wanting stock = Hasbro can't get stock on shelves have to appear before people listen?!
MicromanSpyBoy
^Listen man. I am entitled to my opinion. I am a collector, same as you. You don't need to Troll me bro.
Motor_Master
You know I could list the myriad of reasons why you need to chill out about Hasbro and it's treatment of the US market… but it's all been stated before and it won't change your mind. If you really think Hasbro treats the US market like the proverbial red headed step child, then move on to something else.

I don't think 3 weeks is considered a zombie thread.

zombie thread…?
MicromanSpyBoy
That's right! You tell 'em Bruce Willis!
I really do feel like Hasbro doesn't give a shit about people in the States. It's really frustrating how much things go for when scalpers get a hold of them, and toy collecting in America is a vicious feeding frenzy (just ask Hot Wheels collectors, poor bastards). When I go to a Target, TRU, Wal-fart, etc. it's only 10 percent of the time I find a Generations toy, and it's usually one I have already. Thank God I preordered a Thundercracker, or I'd be screwed. Hasbro still has millions of Easy-Bake ovens, Monopoly games, Play-Doh, and NERF guns to make a buttload of money on…
…why do they act like they cant make enough Transformers to go around?
