I am the poster of these galleries L-U from HK  

Just want to clear up something, only the roadbuster and the skyhammer are touched up
All other galleries I made of the DOTM line are the original figures I got

I am pretty surprised by the Quality and the design of DOTM as the last movie line was pretty disappointing, so I keep making galleries for the new DOTM toys to let everyone understand that, the movie line hv been changed  

I always want to post reviews here but I am not good at English….may be I will try in the next gallery

About the customization of only Roadbuster here… mmm….. where are you LimeWire ?

I've been routinely displeased with the movie stuff so far but I actually like some of these DOTM designs, more than anything from the first two at least. The more "normal" proportions on the likes of Roadbuster and Crankcase, and the fact that they're not so monochromatic, really help I suppose. A lot of those little HA dudes even feel like they could be an unrelated line outside of the movie-verse.

Maybe if you turn Whirl's head around to the searchlight side it would look more like a Whirl.

Out of curiosity, any chance you'll be posting a Nitro Bumblebee gallery any time soon? We haven't seen all that much of him so far, so a nice gallery of him (like your other galleries) would be much appreciated.

As for the language barrier, like Tiller said, don't worry about it. Your posts are perfectly understandable, and you've definitely grasped English better than some people who's first language was English (sadly, some of my relatives come to mind, lol).

I think mine one is having problem, should be broken during transportation….as it didn't come with package. I just didn't notice that at all
Now I see that the length of the left and right finger is not the same.

May be I should ask for a refund? XD

Anyway it do me no good to customize the figures without telling you guys,
And I seldomly do customization unless I really can't withstand it or I really love it. Like the head of Skyhammer.

Which would make voyager class redundant anyway, it's why they killed ultra class in the first place afterall.
I'm not suggesting they just stop the voyager class outright, they could do what you just suggested/put another $5 on the price and call that voyager class for the next however many years until another change is needed.

If the mechtech weapons are cool to some people that are actually going to play/display them that way then their no worse off than a revenge of the fallen voyager for the money.

Also The shrinking has been happening for a long time. I think energon is a great comparison. Those are really huge figures with big parts to click around. But by comparison to today's stuff there just is less joint engineering, paint and the transformations are as basic to transform as a power core combiner commander among that line.

Not to knock energon. But just retrospectively, the engineering has come a long way.

The more I see of Whirl, the more I want him. I think he looks like a genuinely awesome little transformer. And the fact he doubles as a BFG targetmaster, makes it even better.

I wanted to give that Jolt a chance, but the fact that the shoulders don't actually tab in to anything really turned me off of that figure. Shame.

Everybody including bumblebee looks great with the Whirl BFG. The human Alliance bots actually don't look to bad next to the deluxes and voyagers.

Their up budgetted scouts! The line is'nt dead.

This may be true, but I can understand why they did it this way, and it all boils down to the very same thing that everything else does….

Money.

Think about the market for Dale Earnhardt Jr. fanatics out there. My guess is that Jr. fans and collectors will be more inclined to purchase a transformer that looks more like the actual stock car than a mess of cybertronian moldings and weapons. It would look better in there collection of memorablia. Plus, the movie version (that we've seen so far) has a wide open front end. That may not translate well in toy form.

Kudos to Hasbro for tapping into the NASCAR fans out there, especially Jr. fans. Sure there Jimmy Johnson fans, and fans of whoever the heck drives the Target car, but no where near the amount of loyal Jr. backers.

My opinion: nice to have diversity in the toyline, though I will be upset if the movie does not feature the actual stock cars before they drive around all weaponized.

Right on. But Roadbuster has the Hood splitting to form the chest unlike topspin. So you can justify this decision for a clean vehicle partially because of the CG models conversion adaptation. I do agree that Nascar fans may actually want to get the Wreckers, perhaps Hasbro is trying to please more of the market by doing some Stealth Forced and some clean.

The masses want Clean Nascars, and the fans want a Weapons Pile?

my problem is that no word is set to the news that this ics are customs and that they not show the retail-variant, so many people could be dissapointed about what they buy, cause they saw this stuff here

That is good to point out. These are such nice photos. But I'm not going to be disappointed about a few less paint applications, or modified hands.
Unless it turns out those modifications were to keep the toy from breaking on its own Automorph, or get past a Terrifying stress bit of plastic that could have snapped the hand right off without modification.
I think we all want these things to work properly out of the box.

I'm looking at scale, pose ability, and aesthetic presentation from these pics.
Those Human Alliance bots and SkyHammer are the real stars.

Everyone else I'm after just because of fandom.

Jolt looks awesome!
