Kids always like BFGs.
Fort Max
Personally I think kids may well like BFG's on their toys.

Xaddion and Opticron Primal, it is called venting and taking a jab at Hasbro, not as a means to insult the intelligence of someone, these figures may actually turn out great.
Opticron Primal
You, sir……are the farthest thing from a genius as possible.
Xaddion
This is how logical you sound.

^ That megatron is awesome!

Everyone's such a expert at running a multi-million dollar toy company.

Maybe if we e-mail Hasbro and tell them that the point is to sell the DOTM toys, not have them sitting on a shelf in the stores gathering dust then Hasbro will destroy these and start over.

You give the good old crapper way too little credit for its inspirational value. After all, the toilet is where No More Heroes was planned out.

Prime's MechTech gun will make a great addition to Power-Up Prime from the ROTF line

every penny counts!

See you can't say that. You don't know what Megatron looks like in the film. Post-Production isn't over so Megatron can be in accurate. He could be in accurate now. We have no CGI art to show that it is remotely accurate. That being said, since it's done (and to poor quality) and boxed, it should be accurate.
As for Optimus, as I've said elsewhere, he could be 90% accurate at some point in the film. Basically, commenting on something before actual art is shown is pointless.

yeah 19 bucks will change your life.

I'm going to save so much money by not buying this crap! Thank you, Hasbro!

I'm hoping we are getting an all new Prime bundled with the trailer.
The solar panels make the truck mode look great IMHO; I was thinking Hasbro and TakaraTomy would go cheap and just use printed patterns but they actually used clear plastic, which looks really good.
Yup, Bumblebee too.
Let's hope, but again, I hope the voyager bundled with the trailer is an all new mold.
After looking at it more closely, I definitely agree with you.
I'll have to agree. We've seen worse but as for movie Prime toys, even though this Prime is based on TF3 and as such, is understandably different from the ROTF design and Battle Blades Prime, this toy does not seem on par with Battle Blades Prime. Battle Blades Prime is more proportionate all around. This one…thankfully does not seem built around the mech tech gimmick, but rather it suffers possibly due to trying to incorporating a lot of stuff all at once at a small scale. THIS is the primary reason I want to see a TF3 Leader Prime, a figure that does not have to rely on cheats on transformation nor compromises with proportions.
I'm reminded of how the TF1 voyager and Leader Prime molds differed in transformation and look. However, this time around, IF we get a leader version I have a feeling the leader will look better than the voyager for TF3.
I don't mind cheats for transformation and I think the TF3 voyager uses them in a neat manner. I just wish it was better and didn't look as kiddified. By all means it's not like one of the non-mainline TF's aimed at a younger audience but the aesthetic in robot mode lacks the sense of realism that previous mainline TFs had. Love vehicle mode though.

Actually, yeah, it looks just like the Prime in that pic. Bland, lacking in detail, and weird.
It does have better paint apps though. Burger King wins this round.
