The latest Transformers Collector’s Club Magazine might feature Wreck-Gar on the cover, but subscribers are now getting their copies and there are even more surprises inside. In this issue, the Collector’s club pulls out all the stops and shows off:
Wreck-Gar in both robot and motorcycle mode
Perceptor
Scourge
Turbo Tracks
All of whom we have previously seen (well, except for Wreck-Gar’s motorcycle mode).
However, the TFCC magazine also shows off a couple of brand new, never before seen toys – the first is a Legends Class toy named Trailcutter, who is an update of Generation 1 Trailbreaker with a lawyer-friendly name change. Yes he might only be a Legend, but at long last, Trailbreaker gets some modern line love!
Then comes the really left-field reveal. Yesterday we reported that a Walmart computer listing had a Deluxe Class Optimus Prime among the other toys listed. Well, that mystery has now been solved – coming soon is a new Deluxe Class rendition of Generation 2 Laser Optimus Prime. It’s described as looking just like the original (pictured left) but without the cheat on the chest windows, and naturally comes with a sword. No pictures are available just yet but once they become available through official channels we’ll update you here on the TFW frontpage.
Also revealed in this issue, and it’s ironic that he’s the footnote in an awesome news story given that he’s pretty awesome in his own right, is that Masterpiece Rodimus Prime will be seeing a US release – without his trailer. He’ll be a store exclusive and might come with some new accessories to balance out not having the trailer. Even so, US owners who cannot import the Japanese release – or who never cared for the trailer to begin with – can own this excellent update of Hot Rod and his Matrix enhanced alter-ego.
These images come from the Transformers Collector’s Club Magazine, and the only way to get to see them is to be a subscriber to the club. Find out more on how to join and the benefits that come with it by clicking here to visit the Transformers Collectors Club Homepage.

View attachment 28174690 So where did this repaint come from or is it a sticker set for one that's not stickered?

Pics have now been posted in the Feedback forum.

Can someone mirror the images or something? Not everyone has facebook.
MrFX
That car mode is HOT! Tracks looks better and better each time I see new pictures.
Toxicon
Yeah, it's not really the right shape (In my mind, WJ's chest windshield is all round), but I still think it could work pretty well overall.
Rodentus prime
With the legs back-to-front it'll work better but that big chest still doesn't give me a wheeljack vibe.
Toxicon
Jesus, that mold is so Wheeljack. I've already got Tracks on preorder, and I'm greatly looking forward to him.

Kapow toys have posted a photo review of Generations Track on their Facebook page.
Scantron
Finally got my copy of the Club magazine. Surprised with how much I like Perceptor and Scourge; they look a lot better than in the initial pictures. G2 Prime sucks, but I am tempted to pick it up just to give the sword to Classics Grimlock.
Pride21
Managed to get a look at G2 Laser Rod Prime. The main body is pretty faithful to the original toy. The head sculpt and sword however have a reminescent movie feel. I'll wait for better pics and a review before passing final judgement.

You might want to edit that post, telling people where to find club mag scans is a no-no.

Edit: I had to delete the post. Sorry.
Optimus Vader
Thanks. I'll just wait for an online scan or something then.

I'm pretty sure it's not in any stores. The TFCC online store has back issues available for purchase, though not this current issue right now.
PoweredConvoy
Very true. Thankfully that rarely happens.
Yes, but the issue has already shipped, if you joined now you'd have to order a back issue through their website. You can't buy the magazine in stores, it's for fan club members only.

We have to join this club to see Laser Prime or can I get that magazine in stores (Borders, Barnes & Knoble, etc) for a higher price or…?
Thundershot
Oh I was just pointing out that just because we see an official picture of something doesn't necessarily mean it'll actually come out. I have no doubt Wreck-Gar will be out.
PoweredConvoy
That's comparing apples to oranges.
We don't know for sure if those figures will ever come out, but at least the new molds came out from Takara.
Animated was stopped because of the deal with Discovery to make the HUB, so any product related for it unfortunately didn't get much of any retailer interest and was put on hold until they can find a home for it.
Generations and Autobot Alliance are both just starting, and Wreck-Gar is likely to be out by Spring 2011.

Shadowskale
I can't wait for these to come out, I really want a thunderwing and the G1 legend class figures.
EDIT: oh and Scourge…how did I forget that.
