The next issue of Transformers Ongoing will be coming out on Wednesday and, thanks to Comicbookmovie.com, we have a little preview for you all.

While I'm loving the artwork of this issue (Just read it!), it felt about 7 pages long. Nothing really happens and some of the panels look like they were recycled from #10.
IDW's recent trend of making everything really drawn-out is doing them no favours. The last issue of Spotlight: IH was a victim here as well.

My problem with the ongoing (and this applies largely to most IDW comics these days) is the decompression wastes what few pages they have. I'd be reading along and then suddenly it ends, and I wonder if some pages have fallen out. Mike Costa needs to cut down on having the penciler do so many panels and so many pages to illustrate one scene.
Again, do you need to give almost one panel per response? Almost one panel per word bubble?

Autobot Thundercracker would be very cool. Theyve always hinted that Thundercracker wasnt comfortable with the decepticon cause and that bumblebee had tons of potential throughout his history, so to me this is inevitable.
I do love TC though. Good or Bad, hes finally getting some attention

and is it just me or does rampage practically look like a zaberfang from zoids
i always thought that zoidformer look could really work for the animal type transformers

I'm liking this a lot – TC is one of my favourite 'cons (my first and only seeker as a kid) so all they need to do now is develop Bluestreak (and his bio was always one of the most interesting) and I'm happy.

They changed faces, finally? Wow cool, how far into the story did this happen and is there TPB in the works that I might consider picking up (now that faces are changed)?

If this doesn't go anywhere good, I'm dropping the title. To me, this is their last chance to actually do something interesting with Thundercracker and his realization that the Transformers have become stagnant. But if they keep on showing how awesome humans are and that the TFs are reduced to antiquated sidenotes in their own book, I'm done.

I stopped reading/buying Ongoing after issue 6. It’s gone down the crapper since, with Ongoing 8 being the worst.
I’ll be picking up #13 though, since it’s in space, features Roddy going after the Matrix and is penciled by Roche.
