Who better than TFW2005 member Red Alert to give us an early sneak peek at the Generations version of Red Alert? Check out the whole gallery, including comparisons with the Henkei version of Alert, by hitting the title bar or the thumbnail. Red Alert has also shown us how nice this new Red looks with his partner in firefighting and old G1 pal Inferno!

Well I got the back piece to pop back in, so wow my "crisis" is over. Man, I feel like an idiot and yet relieved. Still I can't wait to get the Beezleboss kit that has a new head and weapons.

It looks like you need to slot one side in before popping it together on the other side. To me it looks like the windshield tabs in while the rear pops in – I can check later tonight on mine to double check.
Are you attempting to put it back together this way?
Ezilla82
At first I was laughing, but now I'm kinda insulted by that, but I'm over it. Yes, I tried to align them because I can see grooves there on the red piece on Red Alert's back and I'm getting frustrated I mean like you said it isn't that hard to pop it back on.
Satomiblood
This might seem like a dumb (and insulting to you) question, but are you making sure the pieces are aligned properly? I can't see how it wouldn't pop back on. It looks like a clean fit.
Ezilla82
Actually Satomiblood..no. I've checked theirs nothing wrong with it maybe its just me.
Satomiblood
I don't understand what the problem is. Does it look like the roof or the back portion have any excess plastic that's preventing it from cleanly popping back on? Seems okay to me (judging from the pics).
Ezilla82
Sure. Here you are, Satomiblood.
Satomiblood
Can you post a pic?
Ezilla82
Well I tried and it just seems to be fighting with me, maybe it's easy for you, but to me its hard.

Love this guy. Totally Gen 1 in flavor. One of my favorites at work.

You don't need a whole lot of force to pop it back on.

Heh, that's the "other method" I figured someone else would bring up. Future is certainly the more professional way to go about it. I just always suggest scotch tape first since, as I said, most people are more likely to have tape laying around than a bottle of Future. That way people can try out the fix right away, then later redo it with Future should they choose to. Tape or Future, it all works by the same principle and tape generally works just as well for tightening ball joints.
If he's talking about the pin, well, obviously scotch tape can't help there.

Future Finish is prolly the better fix for a loose ball joint – HIGHLY recommeded.
Yet, I don't think that was what the OP was talking about but I could be wrong. I was thinking he was having an issue with the pin that rotated the shoulders and mine is perfectly fine in that regard but again, Future could fix that up too.

The shoulders on mine got a bit loose over time. What I did to fix it was to first pop the arms off the shoulder ball joint, then I cut two small squares of scotch tape and placed those squares over the shoulder ball. Put the arms back on and voila, tightened joint.
You may need to add extra layers of tape depending on how loose your shoulders are (ie place two pieces of tape on top of each other then cut out your squares). There's other methods for tightening as well, but I figure everyone has scotch tape laying around somewhere.
Onslaught24
anyone else have one that has loose shoulders? cause mine can't hold his arms up at all
Ezilla82
Yeah I know, but I don't want to use too much force because I don't want to break it. You know what I mean.
Satomiblood
The roof can be popped back on. It's pretty simple.
