Over the last month or so, a giftset of ten Headmasters KO heads has surfaced on auction sites like iOffer and eBay, as well as in the TFW2005 Junkion Exchange. The giftset contains the six Japanese exclusive heads Kirk, Lione, Loafer, Rodney, Shuffler and Trizer. Rounding out the set are Fortress Maximus Spike, Grand Maximus Spike, Lord Zarak and Black Zarak!
TFW Supporter and Kapow Toys owner Red leader has obtained one of these sets and has posted his feedback on them. He’s also included some comparison photos between this set’s Fortress Maximus Spike and a vintage version.
Be aware that these KOs are on the market if you are looking to add these molds to your collection, so you can be more informed about what a seller is actually offering you. The Japanese exclusive molds on these KOs are missing the copyright stamps that appear on the vintage versions, so make sure to look for that if you are after the originals!

TRANSFORMERS superise Headmasters giftset!!! For Sale
There seems to be a few of them on ioffer. try typing headmaster in the search box for others.
Be careful though as some people are selling singles but picturing the whole lot of them.
If anyone can recommend a particular seller please do so.
I'd like to buy them but the cost is still putting me off – not so much the cost of the toys as the possibility of getting a huge customs charge on them.
Which is vexing as i'd happily buy a clear set and an opaque set i'm just miffed that I might have to pay so much extra in customs on them probably another nearly £20.00.
If anyone's got the sellers e-mail address and can pass it on to me perhaps I can ask them about multi-buys to compensate for that a bit.
They look worthy of a buy… Is that Iguana out yet BTW ?

Hey,
Has anyone seen more of these listed anywhere???

Got the Superise giftset and set of white ones, headrobots cobra and the custom Headmaster Hi-Q's in last few weeks. So much joy from 3rd party and fan built headmasters. Heres hoping 'master87 and HR do more. I'll buy them all!
I mean these are headmaster teens you can carry around in your pocket to school or work and stick on your desk and not have to worry about losing 500 bucks if you have a hole in your pocket.

I know y'all have already compared EMS to "Christmas molasses", but mine finally came in 2 days ago. (Technically 4, but that's between me and a letter carrier who runs from the door after ringing the bell once like some frat kids dropping off a bag of poo.)
Of the 10, I only have an original Lord Zarak. In comparing the two, KO Zarak looks like original Zarak if he never had sun-fading (minor yellowing) or a possible 22 years worth of accumulated dirt. The only tell-tale differences are in the arm detailing (if you have him or Spike, you'll know) and a minor oopsie in the forehead/eyes piece. I call it an oopsie because KO Black Zarak didn't have the same flaw. I'm also making lots of use of Loafer as "Henry Masterson". He looks best piloting Apeface and Skullcruncher, but like his Animated counterpart, he has one noticeable design flaw: he's too big (or cumbersome to fit into the alt-mode compartments of either without improvisation (i.e., he'll only fit in head mode!). I'm very happy to have a Spike, but wish someone made an all-gray one (or lt. & dk. gray) to better match Cerebros. (who I don't have… yet!)

I think that is an issue with the Cerebros body (and the springs associated with him). Blunghole was having the same problem with his Brave Max Cerebros. I don't own the originals nor a Cerebros, otherwise I could confirm if it's a Cerebros problem or a KO HM problem. I suspect it is simply a Cerebros problem.

is it just me or some of them are just a *bit* loose? i only have Brave Max to try them ,and the zaraks, rodney and lione need a bit of nail polish to fit perfectly. they don't pop out or anything. just… a bit loosey .
but all in all, the quality on these is uttermost impressive. i'm quite happy i got mine.

I finally got my set today. I must say the quality is the best I have ever seen for a KO. Anyone on the fence considering buying this set should pull the trigger immediately. You simply will not get another chance like this.
I give the set a 9.8 out of 10 just because the paint apps could have been better, mine were really not that bad though.

It was fantasy-toys. However, I don't think you will find him listing on eBay anymore. He can be found, however, on iOffer now.

Anyone remember the sellers name on ebay for these?

Got a message from eBay today that the auctions for these guys had been removed "because the copyright or trademark owner of this product reported that they believe the item may not be authentic".
If someone from HasTak did report these, I have to wonder if it's more because of the use of the names, logo, and slogan on the packaging than the toys themselves.

Well, I'll say… this is SERVICE! EMS was so fast, the package arrived today, only 2-3 days after I ordered it!
Here are some pics below – words cannot describe how awed I felt to hold these toys in my hands, toys I never even dreamed of getting…
Quality is great – I took pic of a KO Mirage next to them, the plastic of these is much better quality, it really FEELS G1. I will dig out my headmasters and take pictures with them next, the new heads look great. Especially Shuffler – in head mode, he looks like Bruticus' head.
Btw – info for hardcore collectors – they are all missing the Takara/1987 labels, so it'll be easy to tell them apart from the real ones.
Oh, and judging by the packaging and the stuff written on the inside flap of the box, he plans to make the other 1987 and 88 headmasters next!
BB Shockwave
Yeah, headless Headmasters go for 4-5$, especially the 1988 ones.
26$ for shipping is reasonable, Redalert Rescue. China has a weird shipping service, even the smallest package costs a lot, but if you order more stuff, the cost does not rise so steeply.

Transtectors shouldn't be a problem. I was joking with a friend about how — even in the '80s — Headmasters (as well as Powermasters, and to a lesser degree, Targetmasters) could be in spit-shined shape, but would lose 7/8 or 9/10 of their value if the HM/PM/TM figure was missing. (Fort Max and his cousins being the only exception.) In contrast, a Headmaster can be in CRAPTACULAR condition (yellowing, moth-eaten decals, etc.) and still be worth $70-90 if the Headmaster is present.
Jarodimus
Yay! Finally got my set. (Slowest. EMS. Ever.)
Quality is great on mine. I just one tiny piece of mold flash to trim off Lodoni, which is certainly no more than I've experienced with genuine HasTak stuff.
Now to see about tracking down some Transtectors….
Cybertronian
I GOT ONE! (Sorry, but "IT'S SO FLUFFY!" was taken.)
Now, for some reason, I want to get my hands on a 2nd Spike, Loafer, and Kirk (although an all-white cast would better suit my needs).
Kirk would be repainted for an experiment of mine — I wondered about 10 yrs. ago what he'd look like if he were repainted into Gundam colors (blue Nebulan chest, red painted robot face with golden yellow eyes and antennae, etc).
As for Spike, I've always wanted one with a fleshtone colored face (in human mode). (I think I'll call him "Sam". )
I'm sure Loafer is a nice enough character, but looking at his colors, I keep thinking of Henry Masterson, the body-jacking Headmaster. (I have a Hosehead, Skullcruncher, and Squeezeplay he can take for a ride.)

I really like the packaging on this too, the whole giftset look really is snazzy. Makes me think I'll probably try and buy 2 of these sets.

The seller on iOffer shipped mine in a sturdy box with bubble wrap. Plus it was EMS. I don't think the shipping is all that pricey considering the shipping method.
As for the box, I love the artwork and design on it. It's a beautiful display piece that blends well with other G1 items.
Also, not sure what you are referring to when you mention cashback. Are you referring to coupons and such? I know eBay has the eBay bucks running for buyers. That does give you a little back in return.
RedAlert Rescue
The shipping is a little pricey considering the annoying habit some chinese sellers have of not posting things in boxes and how tiny the set is.
Also I don't even especially want a box for them so I don't feel a need to pay extra for that when loose would have een fine for me if I saved a few bucks on the selling price.
I'd recommend to anyone who wants to use e-bay to buy these to use a cashback site or voucher codes etc… if they can to compensate for the high shipping cost a little well by 3% or so.

No need to get upset. I sympathize. I signed up on iOffer solely to buy this set of HMs. I wish I had more answers for you. The messaging system is a little goofy IMO. Plus I don't like how iOffer has a hard time recognizing if you paid via PayPal. The site is very rough around the edges. Also, it doesn't help that the seller knows very little english (from what I gather).
The only answer I have for you regarding your offer is this: he did not have any available/in stock at the time. If you may have noticed, he has been selling A LOT over the last week.
Regarding the seller on eBay, I believe he is a friend of the seller/maker on iOffer.
@Deefuz – There have been worse offenders. One guy was trying to pass his KO Spike as an original. He wanted/wants $180. At least the California guy is offering 2 sets. Goodness, though, that was painful to read in that font.
BB Shockwave
He is selling them on Ebay as well:
Headmaster Giftset
There are 6 available still.
And "thanks" for the help, sheesh. I expected better of the people who managed to buy the toy then ignoring my question about how to use that blasted Ioffer. I still don't know why I could not accept his offer, and neither does the seller.
