While we do not normally report on every new product listing to be added to Hasbro’s Transformers site, these two latest additions stand out for what they might represent. Animated Thundercracker and Mudbuster Bulkhead have just been added to Hasbro.com, in the latest stage in their “will they or won’t they” release cycle. While we have seen packaged samples taken from the factory floors, official images and now these listings, we have still not had any word of whether these two toys will be released. However, the fact that these have been added to the website – alongside other planned upcoming toys such as the Power Core Combiners – all signs seem to suggest that Hasbro are still trying to find a way to get these toys onto the market and make good on their “these will see release somehow” pledge from Botcon 2009.

*raises hand* Any Animated is good.
And really? You're asking who cares about completing a Starscream/Skywarp/Thundercracker set?
Dinobot Snarl
of all the animated figures to release, who cares about those when there are new molds yet to be seen on the US shelf.

I hadn't been in my local Meijer in a couple of months and I was surprised to find that they still have pegs for Animated Deluxes and Activators (they didn't have any Animated Voyagers, but I didn't look to see if they had shelf tags for them). They weren't even clearanced. I thought Toys-R-Us was the last holdout on Animated.
Superquad7
K-mart has still been putting out their cases of voyagers and deluxes. The ones locally kept their shelf space, and then put out cases of both voyagers (Shockwave and Skywarp) and deluxes (Freeway Jazz and Electrostatic Soundwave cases).

Nyargh zombie bumpage. I thought there was new news.
*shakes Intertubes fist*

I hope Thundercracker gets released in some fashion. I need him to complete my Animated seeker collection.
baggzey23
that mudbuster bulkhead would make a great constructicon (just needs a decepticon insignia)

Takara is doing such a good job with animted. Hasbro should take note of them. Well i just bought a skywarp on saturday for $13 at walmart just release the figure hasbro. We all know you are most unlikely not going to release blackout. So glad my aunt is buying me the takara one because it has more paint apps the hasbro's which we will never see.
Dai-Guard
I'll probably get both of these two if they come out since while they're not my most must-have repaints, I want to support the line so they'll make Wingblade and Blackout. Plus, they are good molds.

I dropped the ball on picking up Sunstorm and Skywarp Hope to get Thundercracker Muddy Bulkhead pass
SimonMK
We still didn't receive Cybertron Mode Ratchet & Arcee in mass retail in Quebec, I don't have my hope up for Ironhide/Rodimus & Thundercracker/Mudbuster Bulkhead.
And instead of a useless repaint of Blukhead, its should had been Blackout…
Wheeljack_Prime
He'll be at Toys R Us this upcoming fall.
Dom
I'm just gutted(at the moment) that I didn't go for Blackout when they appeared on eBay a few months back
Grimwing
I will buy a mudbuster bulkhead. That's a underappreciated mold and a varient would be cool.
Thundercracker is understandably the desirable one for that wave. We might only see them distributed at hasbrotoyshop and closeout retailers.
They are sitting in a warehouse somewhere.
checklist!
-mudbuster bulkhead
-Thundercracker
-Blackout
-Hydrodive Bumblebee
-Power Armor Optimus Prime
– Ironhide
– Rodimus
Cal
Forget repaints, whatever happened to Rodimus Minor and Wingblade Optimus Prime?
Autovolt 127
Finally a chance to have a Starscream, thundercracker and skywarp in the same line. well i have the movie/rotf version of the seeker trio but it's conflicted with the fact rotf starscream looks nothing like thundercracker ans skywarp head wise.
…And if they can release Thundercracker and Mudbuster Bulkhead, maybe they can still get Wingblade Prime and Blackout
Sy-Rein
I dont see why they cant just throw these up on HTS.com. If a store doesnt want to carry them, then cut the middle man and sell them themselves.
Feralstorm
I'll believe it once the store sightings (or alternatively, web-store appearances) start rolling in. I'd even buy MudBulky if the distribution system can get it to me.
Jarodimus
Ah-HA! It's so great to finally have a diagnosis for my symptoms.
At this point, I'm so jonesed for Animated, I'll most likely be buying anything and everything they can release, up to and including Barely-Redecoed Oil Slick™.
Shush, you.
Pravus Prime
Yes please. I've got Wingblade and Blackout on pre-order from BBTS, TC is the only remaining Animated (Outside of Rodimus and Ironhide) that I really feel like I'm missing that we know about.
