Australia usually gets things before everyone else – sometimes a couple weeks prior, sometimes a couple months prior, or in the case of some toys, they only exist in Australia! And while Australia has a lot of very unique things to it (including very deadly spiders! Thanks for scaring me away from the “Land Down Under” forever Discovery Channel, who just so happens to be partners with Hasbro for their new channel “The Hub” which will be airing Transformers Prime and other old Hasbro programming, how’s that for the most random crossover advertising?), they can now add Powercore Combiners to their list!
That’s right – the highly anticipated Powercore Combiner 5-Packs were released in Australia! Though not on the shelves, they apparently also had some Transformer named Seaspray but wouldn’t sell him because he’s just too awesome to handle on any day before the weekend (though if he were named “Cosmos”….).
Powercore Combiners are scheduled for an August release in the United States.

I like how "toyetic" the PCC concept is. Hopefully it will go down as well with kids as Armada did back in 2002-2003.
See, he was just joking, but then you had drag up the North American gaming press' curious scrutiny over our games rating classification system.

obviously one of us is in the dark regarding leader starscream and a uk release. what source confirmed this information?
Please improve the quality of your complaints. Thank you.

So you're implying Australia is run by Geewuners?

Don't forget Universe Hot Shot and Ratchet, LoC Wheelie/Warpath/Rodimus, Animated Blackout, Rodimus, etc etc…and the inflated prices even with the exchange rate. IIRC you guys are looking at US$10 for the 2-pack PCCs, at today's rate that's about AUS$12…our price is AUS $20 (US$16.60).
US$41.60 for NEST Bludgeon, anyone? We'd probably just get them on Ebay and be done with it, but the postage rates most US Ebayers seem to ask for international postage are ridiculous.
We already have those-how about a RiD Sky-Byte or a Shadow Striker/Bumblebee 2-pack? Or a Movie Fracture, or more recently a Deadlift/Beachcomber set?
Hasbro AU distribution sucks.
Maybe if you ask real nicely some of those Aussie fans who're forking out mega-bucks to head to BotCon in June could be persuaded to bring some PCCs and yellow-packed figures over with them to sell to some of you poor, impatient, deprived USians? Better still, the latest Wreckers comic seemed to feature some AU/Europe-only characters – get in early and/or buy them a beer and you might be able to pick up a Rotorstorm, Pyro, or Ironfist…

I notice that a lot of the cheap and cheerful versions of Movies on DVD are multi-region between UK and Australia.
I'm quite pleased that Blu Ray is shared with America it means I might have a small chance that some of the TV shows I want might come out on boxed sets I can actually play (Like Earth Final Conflict).
But I suppose it's a bit anoying if your an anime fan you'd have to keep buying DVD instead of Blu Ray's for Japanese content.
So an American can play the Japanese Blu Ray (I think) but a UKer can play a Japanese DVD.
Perhaps somewhere will release Beast Wars on Blu Ray and then I can play that.
I think the Austrlian one is region locked isn't it ?
OH while I think of it ….
I pestered Hasbro UK about forthcoming ROTF toys like the missing Deluxes Dirge, Armorhide, Tuner Mudflap etc… and the missing Legends like Arcee, Wheelie, Soundwave.
and got a rather omminous reply – they said all ROTF toys that have shipped is all there is going to be.
which suggests a worrying lack of new Legends to me.
Especially irksome when the Mudflap / The Fallen wave is hardly ever seen and there seems minimal chance of Soundwave/Wheelie coming out now.
But I remembered there was a shot of a Sideswipe (silver version) in a yellow box as a repack and I wondered if that was possible so I asked them about the chance of repacking the items they missed on the new cards…
I got a not very encouraging 'maybe' on that.
I suspect there's not enough time available before the movie 3 toyline to shoe horn very much in though.

Who cares! Just wake me when the "Generations" sightings come in…. You can have most of this other crap.
Maybe I'll stop laughing when your Government stops banning every decent video game with a "M" rating LOL!

Yeah! I mean, GEEZ, Seaspray is supposed to be a blue, white, and yellow hovercraft!
Oh, wait.

It sad, but I'm actually more excited to see that SOMEWHERE in the world has Doctor Who figures at retail than I am the Power Core figures being out.
I'm getting Seaspray for sure but the PCC's are pretty much passes other than maybe Bombshock/Combaticons.
But as if I saw mentioned on another board they recolor the Huffer and Rallybots into a Stunticon set that's a for sure purchase!
Eric
Huffer and Smolder will definitely be bought on sight for me. Searchlight…pass.

See while I will most likely pass on the combiner teams, the scout packs look AWESOME. Minicon breastmaster/targetmasters KICK ASS. I hope we get some headmaster minicons eventually!

The more I see of these things, the more I want! Fingers crossed the UK isn't too far behind Australia (and ahead of the US
).

The first wave of PCC 2-Packs are out here in Malaysia too.

Haha legitimately honored to see some good came of my fan-rage c:

The exchange rate is why at least once a year I save for a few weeks and do a bulk BBTS buy – because even with the inflated prices on there, and shipping, I still save like 50%.
ORIO
Someone please do a review of Huffer!
I think he's the only one that we haven't seen close up really.
