Ozformers has posted their coverage from the 2010 Australian Toy Fair, featuring release info and more for various Transformers toys set for release in Australia. Here’s some key points of info from 2005 boards member griffin-of-oz:
First half of 2010 – red packed Movie line continues.Second half of 2010 – yellow packed Movie line, red packed gimmick figures, Powercore Combiners, Generations, and Speed Stars. (August in America, Jun/Jul in Australia)
Mid year sees a big change in packaging styles for TFs and SW (their biggest two lines at the moment).
Animated – no more new figures to be released here. No Arcee or Ratchet either.
Human Alliance – still a Kmart exclusive here, and they are still committed to the line. But – only releasing 3 mid year and 3 at the end of the year, probably to make them look like a range/variety of figures, instead of one at a time.
Recon Ravage (the mailaway one) will be released here at ToysRUs next month.
MP Grimlock will also be a TRU exclusive here.
TF2 Robot Replicas definitly not being released here.
80% increase in sales for TFs during 2009 ($40mil – $23mil of that while the movie was in theatres), compared to 2008 ($17mil) and 2007 ($17mil).
Looks like Australia has the head jump on some of the new assortments later this summer!

We've only had the first HA (Bumblebee) released here, so the total of 6 for the year here, would only just take us up to Jazz.

I dunno this dosent eseem like allot anymore when seeing everything all together like that hopefully we get a sleeper line at the end of the year.
Really hope once the War for Cybertron line gets going they keep it going!!! more deluxes leaders etc etc

Well that really sucks, it means we probably won't get them either.
The HA news is interesting though, 3 early in the year and 3 more later…
How many have been released over there so far, it could be indictaing that there's still 3 more to come after Barricade, Mudflap and Jazz.
This is interesting as well, goes against what Hasbro US said at their toyfair.
Stealth force stuff is interesting too, classics and animated vehicle modes mixed in, well that explains Hound and Soundwave then.

It could be the regular one as a 'mock up' for display, as they often do that at Toyfair for items that are still some way from release (usually with cardboard standins though).
I actually didn't realise at the Toyfair that it was the new Battleblade Optimus packaging (I just thought it was a re-release of the original one), and ignored it completely. It wasn't until the other day when The Arker released pics that I realised we had the box on display at our Toyfair – I would have taken pics of it if I knew.
At least they didn't have the real Battleblades Optimus in the box, and The Arker would have beat me to releasing pics anyway.
I'm glad there was something in the pics that people were intersted in. I was just bummed that we couldn't reveal something shockingly new this year like the last two years.
I guess we got some new bios though… (shrug)

It looks like to me that they may have just stuck the original ROTF Leader in the new packaging, just for the display. That's my guess anyway.
Also, there is no "battle axe" Prime. There's a Battle Blade Prime. But that's going to be the new Voyager.
The new Leader will have hooks, as a homage to the forest battle scene in ROTF.
Hubcap and Brimstone look so good.
