Monocle of The AllSpark has provided an image from media advertising magazine Brandweek that promotes a sneak peak of Hasbro and Discovery’s upcoming network “The Hub”. One of the characters featured on the image is the robot version of Bumblebee from the upcoming Transformers cartoon for The Hub that is currently called Transformers: Prime. The image of Bumblebee shares some characteristics of movie-verse Bumblebee, suggesting that Transformers: Prime will indeed take place with the Movie Universe! Check out the image by clicking on the thumbnail to the left.

Too soon to tell if want.
I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt, though. It's been a long time since a line came out where I thought all of the figs were crap.

"Realistic? Intense?" Sounds like gritty XTREME fare like Pat Lee's War For Cybertron.
No thanka you, says I.

Looks alright to me but I've never been that fond of any TF show. G1 had dated worse than most 80's cartoons and while Beast Wars is mostly well written it's still ugly as heck to watch. Maybe it's a bit too movie-inspired but since movie Bee is the ONLY Bumblebee I've ever liked I'm not that bothered and it certainly looks a better style than TFA which I hated and I loathed the godawful 'art style'.
OptimusMagnus3
I'm not quite sure how I feel about this design. It does look very Movie-esque, which is a nice thing for newer fans, like myself, who jumped on with the Live-Action-Movie. I think the body looks decent, but the head looks somewhat creepy, something I don't think fits the character of Bumblebee. Well, on October 10th, we shall see what will happen.
Dinobot Snarl
Great as long as the chin strap is not his mouth
TCJJ
I agree. I'm willing to give it a chance, but I'm not happy about it.
Murasame
Hm I think I will watch the first episode, but I'm very disappointed.

Pime stands for
My sister Annaliese thinks that Prime stands for;
Protocol
Robots
Information
Matter
Environment.
frilly toothpick
i like the design. i hope the toys look just as cool.
Digilaut
It's Feng Zhu right!
Paxtin
Ok, cool.
A studio name was primarily what I wanted to know. Thanks.
EDIT:
Did a search on some of Polygon Pictures info…Yeah, looks very promising, if true.

Street Fighter IV (2008 Capcom video game; opening video animation)
TwinSpin
Can't give names right now as much is under wraps, except to say some great feature level artists are on board in the states and based on that I think the look will be pretty slick and sophisticated, in a realistic CG sense.
Japanese CG studio Polygon Pictures is producing the bulk of the animation for the show.
Feralstorm
Joe and Sarah Kickass.
Paxtin
Do you have any names? Or was all you were told was just that specifically they are kickass artsits?
TwinSpin
Haven't heard anything about characters, just that there are some kickass artists on board designing this show and there should be some realistic, intense battles in the show.
Although based on Bumblebee looking like his movie counterpart, I would bet on 1 or 2 of those bots being in the show. I hope they include all 3 of – as they were all great in the movie and I would love to see simplified, appealing translations of them, ala the Bumblebee in this thread.
Also – I vote for Brawl! He looked cool in movie 1 and I love my Robot Heroes Brawl. He rocks
RodimusDawg
Looks like a cross between the move designs and Beast Machines. I'm intrigued but not fully on-board just yet.
swarlock
That's it!
MythofBlackout
Considering the TF origin story changes drastically from series to series, I don't they'll gloss over it ala Spectacular Spiderman.
Sounds interesting. You wouldn't, by any chance, have heard anything about the robot cast, beyond the obvious Optimus, Bumblebee, Ratchet, etc.? I'm really hoping for a few movie-only characters like Blackout, Barricade, and Bonecrusher (well, really just those three).
Paxtin
I could see them doing something like that. The show starts right off the bat with the Autobots battleing Decepticons on earth, and then you get maybe a flash back or two of how they got to where they are now.
artiepants
back when Animated was canceled and people where screaming "WHHHHHYYYY!!!!" to the stars, I opined that it was most likely that Hasbro wanted media that was more familiar to what was essentially their best-selling toyline and most-seen media in years. It only makes sense ~ Animated was likely developed on it's own track, and obviously nobody knew how huge the movies would be, but it really made essentially NO SENSE to release something at that point that deviated so far from the movies and look which was now familiar to children world-wide.
I'm fairly certain that even if this new show isn't out-n-out set in the Movie verse, it'll most likely use the movie-verse as it's jumping off point for style and story background. think G1 comic -vs- toon as opposed to out n' out different universes like RiD -vs- AEC.
…and i like it. My biggest gripe with the Movie U look is really just how complex and 'shardy' everything is (well, that and the 'con insect faces). But simplify that down to give the characters stronger silhouettes and i think you could have a cool look (i still wish they'd given 'bee less googley eyes though )
