Next up are these pictures of the Transformers Robot Powered Machines line. The new RPMs “Stealth Force” assortment was on show, along with an extensive new lineup for the diecast cars and a new Bumblebee themed track set. The Stealth Force are the frequently mentioned larger RPMs with pop out weapons, and their lineup includes a Classics / Universe 2.0 inspired Hound. Check out all the images by typing on the title of this story.
Stay tuned to TFW2005.com this weekend for our 2010 Toy Fair coverage and Toyark.com for non-Transformers 2010 Toy Fair coverage.

It's not that much like M.A.S.K. (Or Vortech) to me – The way mask Vehicle Transform is not like those vehicles the expanding fenders and powered Transformation is just like Shogun Warriors though.
Some MASK vehicles Spring open like Razorback but none of those look remotely like a MASK vehicle (and I collected the line so I can compare them easily to the RPM SF toys).
When I look at them I'm just as reminded of Matchbox Roadblasters as I am MASK and like MASK that resemblance is only really superficial.

Look more alike than MASK and the RPM Stealth Force do to me anyway.
I think there's more than one size of them though the Optimus looks a lot bigger than the ones on the shelf above the RPMs.
There's been a number of weapon-based-transformation vehicles produced over the years by various companies but to me those RPM Stealth Force cars (not so much Optimus who I will admit does bare a slight resemblance to Mask's RHINO) are really Shogun racer like – especially the flying one shown above and the other one that was supposed to be a boat.
I'm not saying that there's not a slight look of mask to them – i'm just pointing out that the expanding fenders feature is more common on other toys than it is on MASK where as far as I can recall it never really featured.
Speaking of MASK I still lament tha lack of a toy of Gloria Baker's Shark Vehicle. I suppose it's still impossible though as Porsche would still throw a wobbly.
[EDIT]
Not sure I see the point of covering cars with design cues from the robot modes…

And do we know what the ones that also work upside down (by virtue of the big wheels) are called as a subgroup ?
The Transitional colored Bumblebee is a bit odd too (top left) :

I notice that one of them is Drift so that's two Drift RPMs then ? Don't recognise the Orange one with the grey roof that is facing away though.
I'd have expected more Mudflap and Skids repaints and a lot less Bumblebee's though – there's plenty of Sideswipes & Ironhide & Barricade but no so many of M & S as yet.
Fort Max
Drift would be perfect for the SF line, he's exactly the kind of car I'd expect to see in M.A.S.K.
Heck, I seem to recall there bing a Japanese sports car or two in the line.
Triceradon
If you can call that "love".
Bumblethumper
Everyone's favourite Mary-Sue gets some more love:

Updated Spychangers would have been better than RPMs, IMO…
Imagine: diecast G1 VW BB, Cliffjumper, etc.
Also TFTM/ROTF Spychangers(!)…
Bumblethumper
Wrong colours, but looks like they have an RPM mold for Lockdown.
Chap
Completely unrelated, but since they're going to continue the Hotwheel sized RPM line, I would have very much liked to see a return to Skychangers instead!
Dolza_Khyron
BULL!
it's clearly mask, or Key Force.

The BB looks interesting, hope to see it in person soon…

If any photo staff are still at toy fair, could you please take a few moments to snap some more shots of these stealth force things?
I find them beguiling.

Here's a Shogun Racer – which is what I'm implying inspired Hasbro's Stealth Force toys :

These things are apparently voyager size, hence HA figures may fit in the Hound.
Just saw this one, this isn't any TF I've seen, unless it's meant to be gears.

I like these however they would have been better if they had an Action Fleet scale figure with them that could sit in the vehicle
Fort Max
You're obviously full of good ideas.
Brooticus
Cheers! It would be great to see VENOM reimagined as a terrorist group who get their technology from, say, Swindle. Or perhaps Lockdown.
Fort Max
That's a really good idea, I like that, it could easily be a subplot to a future show too.
monsterikan
i really hope at least they can make it like spychanger. dull bot mode but at least it can transform.
Jason Blue Boost
Try looking at Kmart. That's the only place its out right now. Got mine a long time ago.
Brooticus
Amen. I probably wouldn't pick any of these up, (unless Human alliance figures can sit in Hound, that is).
I'd love to see the return of MASK. Failing that, I'd love to see a transformers subline where the Autobots decide to share their technology with the humans after all, the result being morphing vehicles that can fit HA figures. Hell, why not just incorporate MASK into the Tf canon, and have them as a secret ops unit like NEST. Just a thought.

Stealth Force = (copy of) Mattel's Shogun Racers vehicles.
