sorry, i should have included a ~ my response was meant tongue-in-cheek too.
I just can't get into the look of any of these ~ Prime's vehicle mode is nice, and BBs ALMOST cool, but the proportions really wreck him for me (and the less said about Megatron the better) ~ proportions tend to rank pretty highly for me on my "what i look for in a TF".
Xaxis
I wasn't attempting to excuse anything, just making a tongue-in-cheek remark in response to the comment about chunky upper body and skinny legs.
Come to think of it though, why couldn't those aspects be seen as homage to the original Bumblebee toy rather than bad proportions?
Regardless, I'm liking what I see from this line so far and I really hope Hasbro does a good job using the story as a foundation for new canon.
mugen_prime
That looks pretty cool. I'm really liking all this War for Cybertron stuff!! The toys are looking great so far!
MagnusPrimal
Because they don't like the way they look?

I am beginning to see big similarities between the war for cybertron toys and the classics line. Maybe the war for cybertron toys will eventually lead-in to a G1 style cartoon using the classics molds…
Ravenxl7
Nope. Bee here and the other three WfC themed toy's we're getting (Prime, Megs, & Soundwave), are all Deluxe class figures.
Paxtin
You know if I had seen the toy before the game model, I may have liked it better.
Course I still eventually would have seen the in game model, and then I'd be all like "Hey wait a minute…"
I donno. I just really like the design of the game model, and the figure just seems to lack a lot of that visual personality the in game character has.
Oh yeah…I can kinda see it.
Covenant
Just got my issue today. He looks pretty good. I'm not sure he's one I'll pick up, but he's decent anyway. His torso looks oddly wide & a bit large for the rest of him (head, arms, legs). Arm stingers are a nice thought, blades look pimp. Yellow or yellowish energy for the blades would have been cleaner, imo. Very decent head design. I dig it. Face doesn't look all that impressive, but it doesn't look horrible either. Vehicle mode looks kickass, and it reminds me of Bayformers Bee's mask.
Railguard
OOOoooo, Soundwave huh? Now that is cool!
Soundwave_FSD
I can't wait for the soundwave toy pics… Big surprise…
vincheng2k5
It's alright, but not as amazing as I thought it would be. The head is absolutely G1, and the torso also has a blocky look – but then the arms and especially legs are very movie-style insect-like and spindly. The design just doesn't flow together as well as the game model.
I do like that they took out all the crazy red lining, though.
Rodr-Evil
I like it, is like G1 cybertronian BB.
cappeca
Is he Scout class? I'd really love cybertronian bee to go with the classics.
FanimusMaximus
meh, its ok. But im savin my money for the decepticons

Hey, i love G1 BB in a totally nostalgic way
unclemarsellus
You just depressed me, dammit.
I'm loving this figure, by the way. Looks great to me!

This looks like a really awesome figure. Can't wait. It will probably be the first n e get.

dredging up an almost 30 year old toy doesn't excuse bad proportions IMHO. I really in general am liking the design, but yeah, the bulky torso with almost no waist and really skinny arms and legs is just not working for me. the over-detailed head looks a little off too.
I am kind of hoping the pose is making him look "dumpier' than he actually is…
I've been less then thrilled with the overall design aesthetic of the game though, so i'd be fairly surprised if i did like the toys. (Soundwave looks good though, hope his toy is killer)
Xaxis
Sounds like Bumblebee to me.
MrSoundwaveGuy
Really not liking it myself. Upper body looks kinda chunky and the legs are really skinny
