Thanks to S250 and his anonymous source, we have two new images of an upcoming PowerCore Combiner figure. Although the name was not revealed, the figure is a Decepticon who turns into a brush truck. The images also reveal that the smaller partners will be called Mini-Cons. In this case, the Mini-Con’s name is Chopster and he has four modes of play. Chopster can be an individual robot, weapon (gun) for the partner’s vehicle mode, weapon (ax) for the partner’s robot mode, and power-up armor for the partner’s robot mode. Although the identity of the figure is not revealed, the image of the robot mode clearly shows the word “Commander” below the robot. Check out the images of the figure by clicking on the thumbnail to the left and click on the Discuss button to speculate on the identify of the character!

Is this even about that fiigure anymore or just 2010/WFC?
Sammael
Unlikely. "Generations" is Universe 3.0, Power Core is a new line (although it may feature updates of some classic characters, like Huffer – just like the RotF NEST Battles line).
Torque
could PowerCore be the classics 3.0? they said a different name, and sinceits all about updates, Huffer looks like an update-and while this guy may seem new, he may not be as new as we think… could be a possibility

Not at all I don't even own a PS3 but if I wanted to get such a theoretical toy then if I bought such a thing with the PS3 game at least it would eventually be of some use as it's a region free machine.
[That applies if the offer was USA only and didn't exist in Pal territories – in which case then I'd pick the PAL territory Xbox 360 version asuming it was not mad money like some special editions are – it still might make more sense to buy an American Ps3 special edition game intially and a cheap 360 version 2nd hand after a few months] ROTF on XBOX 360 is less than £10.00 second hand now and it's not that long since that came out – so I could probably bare waiting. – especially as the developer has not the greatest of reputations at present it might be a pretty mediocre game anyway – and one i'd be happy to wait for.
I'd certainly never buy a special edition if it didn't come with a unique toy.
It would be a shame to be forced to buy a Xbox 360 NTSC game as i'd be unable to play it on my Pal Xbox 360
to get such a figure (asuming it was USA only) then I'd be better off with the PS3 version even if I do tend to play most things on the 360 usually in such a circumstance it makes more sense to buy the PS3 version.
It's not a dig at the 360 it's just a point of practicality as a NTSC Xbox 360 videogame is just an overpriced drinks coaster to me and as I do plan to 'eventually' get a Ps3 at least i'd eventually have a use for the game rather than the none at all i'd have for the NTSC 360 version.
Fort Max
Not to mention it was about PCC toys…
Opticron Primal
Um, that's a really cheap shot. This is about the toys not what game system is better.

I wonder if the reason they had Optimus ready early is because the Optimus toy will ship with the special edition Videogame (perhaps in anther color).
If it does I hope the toy comes with the PS3 or PC version at least then i'd not totally be wasting my money with an Unplayable NTSC Xbox version.
Triggerhappy
I wouldn't be surprised if we see the WFC figures in the special edition box packaging, but I guess we'll see in the next few weeks…..

Ok names that start with 'M' & end in 'ER'….
Mauler, Manhandler, Missile Master, Mudslinger, Motormaster
I quite liked the earlier suggestion of Brush Guard though – perhaps that's a good idea for a repaint for the mold.

As to the idea of calling Universe 'Classics' I think its probably just practicality – like calling Combiners Gestalts.
If one calls a Combiner robot made of several robots a gestalt then one is usually (but not always) refering to a 5 part Combiner team & also Devastator, Dinokaiser, Predaking, Landcross & Piranacon.
If one is refering to Combiners it can almost mean any character that combines… such as Micromaster Combiners.
Though I find it useful to say Powerlinking for a combination of two characters.
Calling (Voyager Truck) Optimus Prime Classics Optimus is a good way to prevent any confusion with Robots in Disguise Optimus Prime.
And considering that the Megatron & Optimus Twin Pack of deluxes was also reissued as Universe and so was the Special Edition Optimus then if one didn't call them Classics too then some might think that Universe Optimus Prime refers to a Spychanger repaint or a yellow fire truck prime.
Specifically calling G1 related characters 'Classics' also seperates out the Universe toys that represent RID, Armada, Cybertron & Beast Wars.
It's handy as it's a quick way of saying the Western Equivellent of Henkei (only minus the non-G1 characters) if one says Classics. and it avoids any confusion with the original Universe line.
There would be 2 Universe 'Nemesis Primes' too.
Technically there would be 2 Universe Superions for example the Micromaster 6 team one and the Singaporian one.
Just as there is also 3 Universe Devastators. The Micromaster 6 team, *The Build team repaint* and the Constructicon Maximus repaint.
At least refering to the Energon repaint one as 'Classics' helps clear that confusion up a little bit.
It's lucky I guess that Takara-Tomy didn't decide to call Henkei 'Generation One' or we'd have got really confused.
ORIO
Agreed.
But I think it looks more like an "M" than a "H". Which was speculated earlier. So maybe browse for "M" and "er" names.
But keep in mind it may be a new name. Ala freakin' "Chopster"
Beastbot X
Hammer is too generic of a name, I doubt Hasbro will use a name like that anymore.
Cheebs
Hmmmm… Look in the photo under the 'bot. It says "commander", and then under that you can see two yellow bits sticking up. Makes me think his name starts with "H".
Browsing TFU.info for some guesses:
Hammer (1990) – Decepticon Battlefield Fortification – http://www.tfu.info
Hightower (2006) – Decepticon – http://www.tfu.info
I'm guessing "Hammer".
Hot Shot.
Send whatever happened my way, too. Please?

Actually, from what I can tell, that part says:
"MINI-CONS ______ drone
vehicles ________eparate
attach to ______-up any
Commander figure!"
Basically that part is referring to the fact that the mini-cons in this line can be used with any of the Commander figures.
Though the bio does appear to have the last two parts of his name in the second line. This is what I can see of the bio:
"Nobody holds a grudge like ______ER. He plots elaborate ______ against his hundreds of enemies, and thanks to his combination with CHOPSTER, he's got the power to see each one of them threw."
His name most likely ends with er.
prime13
If you look at the info box above the guy, you can see it says his name too bad the flash screwed it up, so we only have the last three letters of his name: commander ____ure (Torture? Fixture?)
prime13
Info? yes, please.
Excelsior Prime
By the way, I'd also like the info that's being referenced here! Please!
Ravenxl7
That would be interesting. Especially since they've recently used the name. Though at the same time, if they're going to continue to use it, I would hope they would use it for helicopter-bots. Still, if it means they get to keep it's use for at least a while longer, than I'd be fine with them using it for this bot. Even more so if it meant we would get a repaint of the Voyager Blackout mold in a similar deco to the Legends class repaint.
Edit: For those that want the info revealed earlier today:
Also, not trying to be a mod when I say this, but could we get the thread back on-topic?
Excelsior Prime
I think this guy's name is SPINISTER.
Would fit with Chopster, and it fits the bio, since he plots or "spins" elaborate schemes.
AniProwl
Very interesting.
Have to see more at Toy Fair next month to judge if this line will be good or not.
