Wal-Mart’s online store has added a product page for the upcoming Revenge of the Fallen “The Fury of Fearswoop” set. The new product page is accompanied by a set of official images of the set, which you can view by clicking on the title of this story.
These official images confirm that the included Legends class Sideswipe and Mudflap toys are actually battle-damaged variants of their regular releases. Fearswoop himself, on the other hand, is a redeco of the 2007 Movie Dreadwing based on the Generation 2 Decepticon Hooligan.

Not being a real Decepticon fan, I still thought this was a pretty cool looking con, however when I saw him today I had no trouble passing. This was a really sad looking mold, cool paint job, not just not worth the $$. IMHO

If I were you guys, I wouldn't feel too bad. If they're being this dumb with Legends, they don't need your business. At least you guys are being wise about it and not just buying stuff because you "have" to. That's a risky mindset to be in.
I post that and DO know how you feel otherwise too ("I wish you'd make more this way! GRRR!")

i feel bad about this too, i'm a legends completist but i'm already having second thoughts, those japan exclusives are paticularly hard to get. and some repaints are really minor like recon bb.
REDLINE
well the camel's back has broken. I'm quitting my completist collecting of Legends figures, and it frustrates me. I'm sick of exclusives and super duper tiny almost-NON varient repaints of Legends. Japan has a clear and stealth deco exclusive set of bumblebees, and there's multiple multi-packs coming out, and these stupid exclusive pack-ins too. f*ing ******ed overboard overkill. *throws hands up*.
Thanks for taking the fun out of it, Has/Tak

Bingo…yet for some reason this is news worthy…
Fit For natalie
It's a late European G1 name, probably devised by Hasbro UK rather than Bob Budiansky or Hasbro US.

Fearswoop? FEARSWOOP? Seriously?
That's a rather…awkward sounding name.

As Sid the Sloth would say " Ooohh A Tiger! Oh no!"
Yeah, Fearswoop/Hooligan looks like a pretty nice redeco, but for $25…nah. For 19.99 ok, but I'm really not impressed with legends that have "battle" damage.
But I agree with Triceradon, its a ridiculously goofy set, but hell, most people consider us adult collectors goofy too…so, what the hell?!!
It too shall me mine…….eventually.
Superquad7
Good news for those who want it. It's a pass for me, though.

So… weren't two threads about this from two days ago both locked by a moderator here because it's not considered news to post every single toy listing or something?
Thundershot
I'm just waiting for the 3 Universe figures to show up at Wal-Mart…..

Eh. If the Walmart exclusive seekers were any indication, there will probably be a TON of these sitting around for awhile. Sooner or later they'll start
lowering the price, or they'll end up on clearance. Thus making the price more reasonable.
Backscatter
Not a bad looking set IMHO. Will get.
Triceradon
What a ridiculously goofy name for a ridiculously goofy toy with a ridiculously goofy robot mode and a ridiculously goofy paint scheme.
It will be mine.
Optimus Prime
Dang, I love the mold and the colors, but considering I'll be buying Halo 3: ODST and the ODST OST on Tuesday, not to mention that RotF Scout Breakdown and TFA Freeway Jazz cost me about $70, I'm going to have to hold off and hope to find it in stores.
Otherwise I'd be all over this mofo.
Autobot Burnout
For $25? No thanks. I wouldn't even consider it unless it was at a maximum of $20 ($10 for the Deluxe, $5 a peice for the Legends), and only then because the deco of Fearswoop would work decently as classics Holigan. I already own Dreadwing (sent from relatives in CA), so this set is not a must for me, thankfully.
Runamuck
I don't know if there is a worse exclusive. That is/was one of the worst molds ever. I would only be paying for the paint job, and I'm sure the price would not warrant that.
War Bearer
$25!!!!
As Dinobot Nuva said at least they are repaints and I need to make fearswoop as my cyclop seeker set
Sharktibolt
Here's a weird story. This weekend I went home from college and decided I'd bring one or two of my Transformers back with me. Of all the ones I could've chosen, I chose Dreadwing. I don't even know how to transform him without instructions.
I can take that as a sign meaning one of two things: That I should either get this Fearswoop set or I should be satisfied with my Dreadwind.
