On cast are Frank Welker, Tom Kenny, Tony Todd and Kevin Michael Richardson alongside Peter Cullen, Charles Adler and Jess Harnell who reprised their earlier roles.
Full voice cast:
Optimus Prime – Peter Cullen
Bumblebee – Does not speak in the film
Ratchet – Robert Foxworth
Ironhide – Jess Harnell
Sideswipe – Andre Sogliuzzo
Arcee – Grey DeLisle
Jetfire – Mark Ryan
Mudflap – Reno Wilson
Skids – Tom Kenny
Wheelie – Tom Kenny
Jolt – Does not speak in the film
Megatron – Hugo Weaving
Starscream – Charles Adler
Soundwave – Frank Welker (but lacking the vocodered voice)
The Fallen – Tony Todd
Scalpel “The Doctor” – John DiCrosta
Demolishor also speaks, although the various other Constructicons do not. Devastator reportedly just grunts and roars, so there is no confirmation if Frank Welker is providing his voice. Additionally Kevin Michael Richardson provides the voice of an ancient Transformer seen in one sequence.
Chris McFeely
Sure, I got it. Got a few more credits to add there, too!
Voiceroy
Chris, I was wondering if you could update your original post so it closer resembles the one from the frontpage news?
And it's still not a complete list — there's no mention of Michael York. His name is listed among the voice credits for the film, and if memory serves it was for one of the Primes.
Grindor
They were designed to combine but they just didnt.
Chris McFeely
Not in the actual movie, they don't.
ThaRizla
I didnt see any combining
optimusprime42
all three bikes combine to form arcee
Grindor
Maybe or maybe not or possibly or possibly not, anyway the pink one is still my favourite. Also i've heard people talking about Soundwaves voice I thought it was ok but still its not vocoded or whatever, although you can hear it faintly in his third appearance.(oh and that Sideswipe/Moonracer thing was a mates idea)
tehCal
It has been confirmed. The toyline retconned it to sell more figures.
You can have your weird ideas about Sideswipe flirting with Moonracer or whatever, but regardless, Arcee is all three bots sharing one mind.
Grindor
No shes not and no there not, that hasnt been confirmed, and if they were all Arcee then they wasted they're budget on making 2 additional characters that do nothing but follow around someone else its a waste. And if they are all the same character just to combine and become bigger its also a waste and they wouldnt have done it, they would have made Arcee a car or something bigger than a bike.
tehCal
Arcee WAS all three bikes. So both lines were by her.
Grindor
I've just seen the movie a couple days ago it was awesome! but Arcee(my fave character)had only one line(which sounded sexy), the other line was spokon by Moonracer, one of Arcee's other two sisters, and little screentime it was also left open if she and her sister Chromia died after being shot or not, also at the end Wheelie disapeared somewhere. With Sideswipe at the beggining after he killed Sideways the sisters were chasing him to, but after Sideswipe killed him he said something along the lines of ''everybody see that how cool am I'' he may have been flirting with one of the sisters as they may have a relationship together becuase the events of this movie are taking place two years after the first in which Optimus invited others to Earth so in those two years any of the robots could have been doing anything together (in their spare time as they work with NEST destroying decepticon threats) I also have a thoery about the multiple characters thing, during the final battle a bunch of protoforms come to Earth it may be possible that one or more protoforms scanned the vehicles of the constructicon's before they formed Devastator or something if not they are clone's like Grindor or if neither it will be explained in the dvd extra's or commentary or whatever.sorry for the somewhat lengthy post!
paco608
oh ok, well i dont know if this sounds repetative, but are there more characters than what we've seen in trailers? sorry just curious
Red Goblin
Demolishor's voice actor is Crispin Freeman!
frilly toothpick
i didnt recognize the name but i know most of her work. imo shes the only one that couldve replaced mrs blu. from the looks of things, she didnt get too many lines though.
Astrotrain85
full voice cast for ROTF
I see the voice cast for ROTF and i think is great Frank Welker make the voice of Soundwave, even without the vocoder.I don`t know how the western voice sounds like, but i think it will be cool, better than his japanese voice(TFHeadmasters, see it on YouTube).
AniProwl
No wonder this movie will suck despite its stelllar voice cast and special effects. You should've learned from George Lucas, Mr. Bay.
Brakescream
Any youtube clips of his Japanese voice?
Don't know if anyone else is interested but me, But I knew I'd seen the guy who does Sideswipe's voice's name before. He's the voice of Ethan in the game Condemned 2.
Red Frenzy
Here is something funny. Over at CHUD.com Bay does a interview where he gives credit for the characterization of the twins to Tom Kenny. He said:
So is he implying that Tom Kenny was chosen as Skids voice actor because how well he could improv? If that was the case why have a script for the movie at all? If Kurtzman and Orci gave ever Autobot specific dialogue which then had to be sacrificed due to actor improv why not give more screen time to the other Autobot's based on how well their voice actors did, why should Skids (Tom Kenny) get special treatment?
The article also goes on to say that Alex Kurtzman gives credit for the twins creation to Bay and he "followed his lead on those characters because he understood them best". Maybe that is why most of the Tom Kenny dialogue was completed first because Bay was more concerned with the Twins development opposed to any other Transformer.
realCliffjumper
Nice to have real confirmation on the voices. I thought that the Sue Blu leaked info was wierd.
DreadwindsGhost
Personally,
And I did wonder about Jetfire; it didn't sound much like Tuturro to me. Well, it's good to see the Saracen from 'Robin of Sherwood' getting some recognition, finally.
