Here’s a Bumblebee toy with a few more features than a Mech Alive transformation! It’s a limited edition Chevy Camaro Bumblebee Edition, according to reports on Jalopnik and Motor Trend. GM announced the limited production run from June 24th through December. Upgrades include the Rally yellow and black stripes, Transformer badging on wheel centers, sill plates and embriodered console lid, and will be available in either LT or SS models!

My wife order it, but from what I can remember it is a 2 SS with a RS package. It's a 6 speed manual and I can tell you the first mod I am making to it is getting a skip shift eliminator.
I just joined Camaro 5 and my username is Trailbreaker77 over their as well.

Congrats! Welcome to the 2010 Camaro club. I didn't know you were getting one. You should join us over at 2009 Camaro 2010 Camaro forums, Camaro Z28 SS news, reviews, wallpapers, pricing – Camaro5.com.
So, what exactly did you get aside from the TF package?

Much as I love the bumblebee I think I love this "Synergy Green" even more

I could see the Reprolablels guys having a market among those people who missed out on the special edition. I wonder how much a sticker sheet for a full-size car costs.
Josh
lucky!

All production of TF edition Camaro is complete. Orders arriving in dealerships now!
I got mine today!

It's black. So it's the night attack bumblebee or whatever.

If it's red you can at least pretend it's Cliffjumper…?

If my 2010 Camaro wasn't going to be built this week I would probably change my order and get the bumblebee edition but it's too late for me.

I was told this as well from my dealer.

That is not the SS package. Chevy does not currently offer anything that looks like the new BB from ROTF.
The frond end mods include a custom hood and a custom front end. Those were rumored to be what would make up the new Z28 but GM has not and will not be making the Z28 because of the new CAFE requirements that Obama and Congress just approved.
The "Transformers Bumblebee" package for the 2010 Camaro will not have any body modifications. Just Rally Yellow with black rally stripes, plus the "Transformers" door sills, Autobot logo on wheels and sides of fenders, and the stitching on the center console.

considering that's the SS package, yes. "bump on the hood" heh.

If you want BB's actual paint, you need "Sunrise Yellow" by House of Kolor. Code is PBC30. Here's an Eclipse painted that color—sure looks right to me:

It'll cost a lot to get the right just look though—you need to start with a white base coat, then the basic yellow, then 3 coats of the pearl yellow, THEN clearcoat it. Not cheap.
Still, for $1500 I expected GM could at least give 1 coat of pearl over the standard yellow, just to make it a LITTLE different and more like BB. GM normally charges an extra 300 bucks or so for the "special" colors that require additional layers etc.

I'm just wondering if it will look like the exact one from the new movie with the newer front end and bump on the top of the hood.

I would consider it but it doesn't transform!

Oh booyy hmmm anyone want to by one of 2004 GTO's? It might be time to change up the stable.

So really its 1500 for the regular paint, the factory racing stripes that retail for 450 on the dealer website and embossing on the tires and dashboard? Is there anything else?
