Here’s a fun item for all of you who like to collect oddities – 2005 Boards member wrecker has spotted these promotional Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Slurpee cups and straws at a 7-11. The straws have small, detachable PVC figures of Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee and The Fallen. The cups also feature the same characters, and are lenticular so that the image on them “transforms”.

Does anyone know how long these will be out for?

Although the cups are dishwasher safe, alas, the straws are not. I found out the hard way. Luckily I didn't put the figures in there

Saw these last weekend at my local 7-11. I think I may pick up Megs to enhance my Legends Megs figure, better arm and head you know.

Down side is, the collectible cups (and contents, which are not collectible, of course ) are $1.99 and the straws are $1.69. So you're basically getting a small slurpee for $4.00.
Hasn't stopped me from getting them all, of course.

Yeah there was a news post on this sometime in the beginning of the week I think.

7-11 ROTF cups and drinking straw figures
I never saw anyone mention these yet. I went there and bought a few. Love the Ravage cup. it shows him moving as he did in the clip on tv. They are motion cups. You move the cup and the picy
ture moves also. The figures come off the straw. All I found were Prime, BB, Meg and The Fallen. They are Legend size but do not transform.
Had to use a Phone camera as my good one went missing.
OOPs Just found that some one posted, Can you merge these 2 threads

I want one of those Prime head cups!! O.O

Ahhhh yes, the Trukk Head cup…I got this one this morning, and I made the same mistake– I filled it up too much with Munkey Icee and melted banana goo came dribbling out the sides and all over my hand.
I was holding it much like Hamlet with a coconut cocktail, so the effect was funny, if sticky.
They only had the Fallen and Megatron straws at my closest 7-11, and plenty of the lenticular cups.
Question: Are the character straws extra $$$, when you buy the slurpee? I haven't gotten any yet, but I look forward to drinking more Yellow Icee, hopefully with a Bumblebee straw and cup, for a thematic day out at 7-11.

I've been having Slurpees every day this week to get these cups. I think I can go one more day for that Prime head cup. Assuming I can find it of course.

I found that his "neck" fits fairly well in the palm of your hand. That's probably the most comfortable way to drink from it.
A word of warning, though. You'll notice the seam along Prime's helmet. The top of his head pops off for easy cleaning, but it's not the tightest of seals. If you fill the whole head up with Slurpee, expect to have a bit dripping out the sides.
The seam does give you the opportunity to fill the head with Jell-O and pull off a sweet Temple of Doom-style "chilled trukk not munky brains" gag on your friends, though, so it sorta balances out.

Jeez, how the hell do you hold that Prime head?

I was wondering if the 7/11 around my area will sell these cups and straws as well Sydney

I made another trip to 7-Eleven today to get the last of the lenticular cups that I needed, and I found another treasure: the severed head of Optimus Prime.
Yes, for only $3.49, you too can own a 28 oz. replica of the Autobot leader's noggin. Fill it up with the Slurpee flavor of your choice, kick back, and pretend that you're Megatron, sipping sweet energon from the cranial chamber of your fallen foe.
By the way, looking through the stacks of lenticular cups at my 7-Eleven, it seems as though there are just the four available: Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Ravage. No Fallen cup.
So that gives us the four lenticular cups, the kids' cup, the Prime head, the two (?) paper cups, and the four straws (Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, and the Fallen) at 7-Eleven.

I picked them up yesterday in Virginia Beach at my local 7-11. Their legs are kinda bent up, so when you take them off the straws, they have a hard time standing. Need to take a hair dryer to them to soften their legs up, then pose them so that they will be sturdier. Next, "Flash Freeze" them with cold water. It works! I don't need to do anything to Bumblebee, he's fine.

Last night I picked up a lenticular Prime cup with a Prime straw. I didn't see any Fallen lenticular cups. Man, was I looking for that one. I'll have to go back and get the rest later today
