Damn! I was at the Burlington/Mt Vernon and Bellingham Walfarts on saturday but i didn't see any ROTF stuff. =(
I did see ROTF Robot Heroes at the Target at Mount Vernon though.

Stuff makes it to the shelves because there is a huge disconnect between the people that handle the computers and the people that open boxes.
The "Do not sell" is put into the computers because they know darn well the stock people are going to put them out and stuff will end up getting to the checkout stations.

When exactly is the release date for these figures? Everyone seems to be finding them on the shelves alot . Why put something on the shelves if its constantly gonna come up do not sell?

I found the Voyager wave a few days ago. I took them to the register in the video department, along an Animated Voyager Shockwave, and when the three movie pieces didn't scan, she just scanned the Animated Voyager three times to account for them.
Anyway, I picked up Starscream, Demolisher and Ironhide for, I think, $21 each.
The same thing happened when I bought the Robot Replicas Starscream, Ratchet and Ironhide a few weeks ago at Toys R Us. The new toys didn't scan so they just used one of the older figures in the line – in this case, Frenzy.

He's talking about the method that has been brought up to get around Wallys not selling them once they get to checkout.
People are suggesting using the self checkout and scanning an animated fig in it's place.

I found scout class depthcharge at Des Moines, IA Walmart. Only ROTF toy on shelves. Not sure if someone else bought rest or what. I got lucky at checkout. Came up "do not sell" but employee overrode that and sold it to me for a random price of $4.00. She asked me how much it was and I said there was no price on shelves.

Yeah My walmart got two cases of the scouts this morning. We did'nt open them because of the street date. But the count is 12 per box. So 3 each rollbar, knockout, dead end, and dirt boss I think is this first assortment.
They can not be two per case unless ransack and depthcharge are in wave one as well. Which he is'nt.
Good to see them. I'm considering troop building dead end and knock out.

Nevermind. My attempt at humor was lost in a serious discusion/reply cycle.
They have made it to Arkansas too, our Walmarts here in town are clearing the shelf space and bringing out massive pallets. I didn't stick around to see the end result.

i understand what your saying but i call them Wallys or Wallys world – most people do especially on Deal boards….Wal-Mart or Walmart they are all the same as KFC was changed from Kentucky Fried Chicken…we still call them KFC even before the name change…..
ok im in WA state and i have seen the scouts, voyagers, deluxes and leaders at all my area walmarts 24hrs and not regular hours on the palletts. I swear they were like 10-20 cases of them. So im sure all wallys will have enough for everyone….
As kusanagi mention he was with me and i was able to get him a starscream and i got all of wave 1 leaders, wave 1 voyagers and wave 1 scouts. it just takes a little effort.
