This auction on Ebay brings us our first, albeit blurry, look at the 6-inch 25th Anniversary Titanium Thrust in his box. Previously all that was seen of this Decepticon was a cross-sell on the back of the packaging for Titanium Hot Zone.

Mm..Let's just hope that the winner of that auction's one of us TFW2005 members so that we can have some REAL GOOD picture & review hitting soon. Can barely make out any details on that one!
PLEASE, someone to the rescue..soon.

Speaking as someone who learned english in his early 20s, I'm always surprised by the amount of people confusing 'to' and 'too' here. If I do it, I'd love to be corrected though, otherwise how do I keep on learning?
Though I gotta admit that Raven's 'wander' always make me double check his posts.

You know if you're gonna piss on a guy for poor grammar you should probably ensure that your own is bulletproof otherwise you kinda end up looking like a tool.

Looks pretty cool.
I read the eBay title as RAPE!! at first.

I don't know why but he reminds me of a snowcone.

Good idea. I wander to sometimes, sometimes in space, sometimes in a grassy field, depends on my mood.

Hmm, that's a fair point. But it's worth mentioning that Titanium Jetfire and Titanium Thundercracker were also not called "War Within Series" anywhere on their packaging (apart from Thundercracker's bio referring to events from the comics, but still no "War Within" anywhere.) We still assume those figures to be representing The War Within characters, don't we?
Yes, after looking through the comics I can see that you are right about them having subtly different transformations, as well as different detailing.
In a perfect world those three Titanium seekers ought to have had different sculpts and transformations, just like the comics. But all I meant was that I could understand them just using the Thundercracker mold for all three, since their robot and space fighter modes look very similar, even if they get there with different transformations. I would have preferred total accuracy to the comics too, but I didn't mind that they were all the same.
But I think we both agree that using the same mold for Thrust is very lazy. In the comic he has a totally different appearance, in both modes, to the original three seekers. I'm very surprised at how many people are happy about the Thundercracker mold being released as Thrust, with no retooling at all. I guess that the revived Titanium store exclusives don't have the budget for any kind of retooling, but if that is the case, they should find a redeco to produce that makes more sense. I guess they must figure that anything to do with the six seeker characters will sell.

I want! I want!
It is full of awesomeness. All we need is Dirge and Ramjet…. cmon Hasbro.. DO IT!

I only partially agree. The reason why I never bought the Tit. Starscream and Skywarp is that they are totally different in the TWW comics!
TC transforms in a very unique way, the top fin coming apart and folding on the shoulder, the nose of the jet folding back to the back. Starscream transforms totally differently, with the nose of the jet being part of the legs, and the fin-part folding down as a hood – very close to how Cybertron Starscream works, that's why I use Voyager (Japanese) SS as the TWW Starscream.
Skywarp's transformation is also different, somewhat similar to Starscream's but there is a slight twist with the cockpit.
Check the #0 issue – Preview comic – of TWW Vol 1, you can get some pretty good pics on how they transform. Starscream's transformation is detailed in issue #6.
And I agree, Thrust doesn't work this way, not without the conehead. I'm buying Universe TWW Dirge but only to remold the head.
Emperor Zarak
eh, looks good….

It's not called War Within Thrust anywhere on the package, this and the other new Titaniums say "transformers universe" where the series name was on the older ones. It could be any Thrust.
Nightwind
I will definitely be picking this one up!

Doesn't look as good as TC and Skywarp…

Bleh, I knew that it was going to be, but I'm still extremely disappointed that this is just the untouched Titanium Thundercracker mold in red.
The comic designs for War Within Thundercracker, Starscream and Skywarp are so very nearly identical that reusing the same mold with a new deco was perfectly acceptable. As I recall, the only differences in the comic were the chest cockpit and shoulder designs. And I think the Don Figueroa character model sketch was a single design, entitled "Seeker".
But Thrust was clearly visible as a background character in The War Within comics, and he had a totally different design, obviously with the conehead, but also with his G1 toy VTOL fans. The same goes for Ramjet and Dirge, who had their very distinctive G1 wing designs.
I'm sorry, but you can't just release Titanium War Within Thundercracker in red and call it War Within Thrust. If it doesn't have the conehead and the VTOL fans, it's not Thrust. Those things are far too integral to the character. I won't be buying this, and I really liked the Titanium War Within figures.
Incepticon
I do want this figure since I'm a total fanboy for anythig & everything War Within related, but will probably wait to buy it until I know for sure if Ramjet & Dirge repaints are also in the pipeline. I'm too much of a stickler for sub-group completion. It took a while, but we finally got WW Skywarp to complete the original Seeker trio, so I'm being more cautious when it comes to WW versions of the conehead trio. I'd hate to have Thrust flying solo… no pun intended.

The color scheme looks pretty solid.
I bet we see these in stores a lot sooner than anyone is expecting….

The QC on the Titanium Thundercracker mold was quite good, at least by Titanium standards.
Notice that Classics fans now have a Thundercracker and Thrust from Titanium, which may go along with Universe 2.0 Dirge to fill out the seeker ranks. They don't match, but they don't cost seventy bucks per figure, either.
